For this special occasion, we sent a curated collection of our pieces all the way from Cebu to Jakarta.
As a small social enterprise that began with a passion for promoting Philippine designs and weaves, opportunities like these remind us how far a single thread can travel. We are grateful to share Filipino culture with the Filipino community in Indonesia and to celebrate our independence through fashion, heritage, and storytelling.

We’re excited to share that Balik Batik will be joining the Philippine Independence Day celebration, Pista ng Kalayaan 2026, at the Philippine Embassy in Jakarta.

What began as a small social enterprise in Cebu has grown into a platform for sharing the stories, artistry, and heritage of Filipino weaving communities with audiences beyond our shores. This opportunity is especially meaningful as we bring the craftsmanship of Filipino artisans to the Filipino community in Indonesia.
