Across Southeast Asia, young people share a common hope for a peaceful, cooperative, and thriving region. As the Philippines prepares to lead the ASEAN community in 2026, the Boy Scouts of the Philippines proudly stands in support of this milestone for the nation and joins the call to move forward with unity, leadership, and a shared commitment to a better tomorrow for the region.

𝗟𝗲𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗮 𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗳𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝘁

169 years ago, Robert Baden-Powell was born. He saw that young people can do more than they are told, and that character is shaped by the choices we make every day.

He trusted young people to stand on their own, to act with courage, and to keep their word. Scouting became the proving ground where actions, not words, define who you are, and where small choices shape a lifetime of character.

Founder’s Day reminds every Scout that leaving the world better starts with each of us. What you do, how you act, and the way you keep your word today can echo far beyond what you see.

When Albay Calls, The Nation Acts. 𝟭𝟯𝟬+ 𝗢𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗟𝘂𝘇𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗼 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.

Last January 22, the 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 visited evacuation sites following the heightened activity of Mt. Mayon. Hundreds of families have been displaced, 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗲𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘀 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗼𝗻 𝘂𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝟰𝟬𝟬 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗻. Afraid. Confused. In urgent need of care, safety, and hope. They need us.

UNYA Philippines, together with our 𝟭𝟯𝟬+ 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀 and 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹-𝗯𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀 and 𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗼𝗿𝘀, bring us, "𝗞𝗮𝘀𝗮𝗺𝗮 𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝗮: 𝗠𝗮𝘆𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝘀𝘆𝗰𝗵𝗼𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗘𝘃𝗮𝗰𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀,” the very 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 under 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗟𝗮𝗸𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻.
