MayonScapes
“MayonScapes” - my landscape images of the Daragang Magayon or popularly known as Mayon Volcano

cosmic fire and orbit . . .
A sky in motion above a mountain of fire.
This star trails image is a stack of 250 exposures, captured between 12:30 AM and 3:00 AM, on a cold and windy night while the majestic Mayon Volcano was actively glowing with flowing lava.
The night didn’t begin clear. I waited more than four hours, watching the clouds slowly drift away, hoping the sky would finally reveal the stars. When it did, the universe began to move — tracing circles above Mayon while molten lava carved glowing lines down its perfect cone.
Moments like this remind me why patience is part of photography. Sometimes the best scenes only appear for those willing to wait in the dark.
A dance between fire from the Earth and motion from the cosmos.

. . . color kiss
A gentle kiss of color from the rising sun paints the majestic slopes of Mayon Volcano, while the quiet stream below reflects the calm of early morning. Nature’s soft glow turning a familiar landscape into a moment of pure serenity.

red lipstick . . .
The warm red glow on Mayon Volcano at sunset feels like a bold, striking accent—just like red lipstick. Dramatic, fierce, and effortlessly glamorous, it reveals a different side of this iconic beauty.
