On December 17, 2025, the STEP Officers successfully held the event “Wish Mo Sagot Ko,” an activity focused on spreading kindness and joy within the school community. Each officer personally chose a student and prepared a gift for them. Through dedication and unity, the event became a memorable experience filled with smiles and appreciation. Its success was made possible through the guidance and support of the vocational teachers and our STEP adviser.

The STEP Organization conducted an outreach program for the indigenous people of Peru, Lasam, Cagayan. We shared food, drinks, and relief goods; above all, we shared smiles, care, and positivity. This was one simple activity worth doing for the community as an avenue to show love and support, and the same would remind each and every one of them that they are not alone and always valued.

On September 11, 2025, we proudly sent off Sir Ruben Dubla as he embarks on a new journey as principal. After 14 years of dedicated service, his dream is now a reality. His kindness, work ethic, and leadership made a lasting impact — not only in vocational education but throughout the entire Western Cagayan School of Arts and Trades.

Sir Ruben, your kindness and dedication have left a deep mark on all of us. You’ve inspired growth, shaped futures, and built a community rooted in respect and excellence. On July 31, 2025, we officially began a new chapter as the newly elected officers of the Students Technologists and Entrepreneurs of the Philippines (STEP) at Western Cagayan School of Arts and Trades. With the trust given to us by our fellow students, we step forward with a shared purpose—to serve with integrity, unity, and heart.

We recognize the responsibility that comes with this role. As student leaders, we are not just here to organize activities, but to be a voice for our peers, to strengthen the connection between students and school, and to promote a culture of respect, involvement, and excellence. STEP has long been a foundation of leadership at WCSAT, and we intend to build on that legacy.

Together, we will strive to make our presence meaningful—not through titles, but through action. We commit to being approachable, dependable, and proactive in everything we do. With STEP as our platform and WCSAT as our home, we are ready to move forward, not as individuals—but as one united student body.

After five years of pause, Western Cagayan School of Arts and Trades proudly celebrated Nutrition Month once again on July 31, 2025—a meaningful reminder of how vital nutrition is to our health, learning, and everyday life. Through fun-filled and educational activities such as the Nutri Quiz Bee, Healthy Plate Challenge, Healthy Smoothie Making, Fruit and Vegetable Carving, Digital Poster Making, Solo Singing Contest, and Exotic Food Cooking, students and teachers showcased their talents while promoting health and wellness in creative ways.
