Good morning, everyone.

I’m writing today still feeling the unease that comes after an earthquake. Even though we were not at the center, many of us felt the shaking yesterday. I pray that you and your families are safe. If you need help—whether it’s a place to stay, some assistance, or just someone to talk to—please reach out. We are family, and we care for each other.

Yesterday’s tremor reminded me of a few truths:

- Nothing is certain. Even strong foundations can be shaken. What feels solid can change in an instant.

- There is nowhere to hide. When the ground moves, no building can fully protect us.

- No one knows when. Earthquakes come without warning. Life is uncertain, and tomorrow is not guaranteed.

- No one can save us—but God has promised.

Romans 10:13 says, “For whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

When the earth shakes, our true foundation—Jesus Christ—remains firm. He is our refuge, our peace, and our salvation.

Let’s take time today to check on friends, especially those far from home. Let’s pray for those closer to the epicenter who may be struggling.

We will gather again soon to worship the God who holds even the shaking world in His hands.

Stay safe. I’m praying for you all.

In Christ,
Kuya Lloyd

More Than Just a Day Out 🌊

There are moments in life that become extra special because of the people we spend them with. Our trip to Durano View and Anunang Resort was one of those memorable experiences that I will always treasure. It came at the perfect time because we had just finished our classes for the second semester, giving us a chance to relax, unwind.

I feel so happy and truly blessed for the wonderful experience I had at Durano View, as well as during our time at Anunang Resort where we went swimming. That day was extra special because I got to bond and spend quality time with my kuyas and ates, friends, and our titas.

What made this gathering so meaningful was the joy of being together. We shared laughter, conversations, and unforgettable moments while enjoying the beautiful surroundings. Swimming at Anunang Resort was one of the highlights of the day. We had so much fun in the water, took pictures, and simply enjoyed each other's company.

The experience became even more special because it gave us the opportunity to strengthen our friendships and build deeper connections with one another. After months of studying, completing requirements, and facing the challenges of the semester, it was refreshing to spend time together and create happy memories.

This whole experience is something I will never forget. It filled my heart with happiness, gratitude, and appreciation for the people God has placed in my life. I will always cherish the memories we made together and thank God for allowing us to enjoy such a wonderful and meaningful day.

More Than Just a Getaway 🌿

Durano View was not just a place to relax, but also a reminder of God's goodness and faithfulness. Grateful for the fellowship, testimonies, and memories shared. Thank You, Lord, for the joy and blessings!

I am very thankful to God for His goodness and faithfulness in our lives. I am truly happy and grateful for the experience we had at Durano View. The timing was perfect because our classes had already ended, and we were able to experience relief from the stress and exhaustion brought by our academic responsibilities.
We are also very grateful to the ate's and kuya's who supported and encouraged us, especially Ate Jeanette, Ate Jessah, and Kuya Lloyd, as well as the NAVS Alumni for guiding and taking care of us. Thank you for sharing your testimonies and life experiences with us. Your stories were a great blessing and inspiration, and we learned so many valuable lessons from them.
We did not only enjoy the beautiful view and the place itself, but we were also blessed by the testimonies, encouragement, and guidance we received. We are thankful to God for giving us the opportunity to relax, swim, and experience a special time of joy and fellowship together.
Above all, we give all the honor, praise, and glory to God alone. Thank You, Lord, for Your love, provision, and faithfulness. To God be all the glory!

GOD'S GRACE OVER OUR STRENGTH

It was never about how strong we are; it was always about how kind He is.

Hi, CCB Fam!
We gathered today to sit with Romans 12:9-21, and it really touched our hearts.
We realized that God doesn't just ask us to love—He gives us the grace to do it.

Lessons learned:
1. Not just words, but a love that is real and honest.
2. Letting go, because He has already let go of our mistakes.
3. Helping others simply because He first cared for us.

When our own energy runs out, His grace is right there to carry us through.

Join Us Next Time
📅 When: Today, May 14, 2026
📍 Where: NCMC Cafeteria
There’s always a seat for you at the table.
Come as you are!
