Bayabas ES Celebrates Buwan ng Wika; Grades 3-Kind, 6 Achieve Victory 🎉🏆

Bayabas Elementary School’s covered court burst with cultural pride on August 30, 2025, as the school celebrated the culmination of “Buwan ng Wika.”

The event, spearheaded by proponent Mam Maria Teodora Suazo, showcased the talent and creativity of students across all grade levels with Grades 3-Kind and 6 ultimately emerged as overall champions in the primary and intermediate categories, respectively.

The winning formula for both grades was their outstanding performance in the two main events: “Sabayang Pagbigkas” and “Sayaw ng Lahi.” Under the guidance of their advisors, Ma’am Deevien Cabate and Ma’am Danica Viterbo, the students delivered captivating performances that resonated with the audience and judges alike.

Other notable performances included Grade 2-Clean with strong showings in both events, who secured second place overall and Grade 3-Honest, who took third place overall in the primary category.

Grade 5-Diligent earned 2nd place in Sayaw ng Lahi and third in in Sabayang Pagbigkas, while Grade 4-Decisive showcased their talent with a third-place finish in Sayaw ng Lahi and second place in Sabayang Pagbigkas in intermediate category.

Lubos ang aming pasasalamat sa lahat ng mga g**o, magulang, mag-aaral, barangay officials, at katuwang na ahensya—lalo na sa ating mga kasundaluhan na buong puso ring nakiisa. 🙌

Panahon na naman ng bayanihan para sa edukasyon! Inaanyayahan po namin ang mga g**o,magulang,mga mag-aaral, alumni, LGU, NGOs, mga katuwang ng paaralan, at ang mas malawak na komunidad at mga kaibigan ng paaralan na makiisa sa Brigada Eskwela 2025.
Sa temang “Sama-sama para sa Bayang Bumabasa,” layunin nating ihanda hindi lamang ang pisikal na kapaligiran ng paaralan, kundi pati ang mga espasyo para sa pagbabasa at pagkatuto ng bawat bata ng Bayabas Elementary School.
🛠️ Mga Gawain sa Brigada Eskwela:
1. School ground cleaning
2. Repainting of desks and armchairs
3. Trimming of trees and shrubs
4. Repainting of stairs
5. Cleaning and repainting of flowerboxes
6. Classroom cleaning
7. Repairing of gutters and doors
8. Repainting of walls,and ceilings
9. Rehabilitation of the school garden
10. Repainting of doors
11. Repainting of blackboards
12. Cleaning of school stage, feeding center and makeshift rooms
13. Enhancing of the school reading center/classroom reading corner

• Reading materials {e.g., storybooks, educational magazines, children's books}
• School supplies {e.g., papers, pencils, notebooks,crayons.etc.}
• Cleaning materials {e.g., brooms,dust pans,garbage bins}
• Painting materials {e.g., chocolate brown enamel, paint latex white,tinting color latex-(raw sienna,thalo blue,thalo greem,hansa yellow),paint brush and paint roller}

Bayabas Elementary School is overflowing with pride as Wendie Grace D. Delgaco, a talented student journalist, secured second place in the Pagwawasto ng Sipi at Pag-uulo ng Balita at the recent Division Schools Press Conference 2025, held at Basud Central School from January 8-10. This remarkable achievement not only showcases Wendie's exceptional skills in language and journalism but also earns her a well-deserved spot at the upcoming Regional Schools Press Conference, to be held in Sorsogon City from January 28-31.

Beyond Wendie's individual success, BES also celebrates the participation of Jade Nicole D. Bueña, John Malvhert B. Guray, Kim Audrey M. Osea, Ayeisha Isabelle G. Colle, and James Gabriel B. Ereño who showcased their skills in Copyreading and Headline Writing, Pagsulat ng Balitang Isport, Column, Editorial, and Sports Writing at the conference. Their participation in various categories demonstrates the school's commitment to fostering young journalists and providing them with opportunities to hone their talents.
