Ang Flores de Mayo ay isang Pilipinong tradisyon na naglalayong magbigay-pugay kay Birheng Maria sa buwan ng Mayo. Isa sa mga aspeto ng pagdiriwang na ito ay ang pagdarasal ng Santo Rosaryo at pag-aalay ng bulaklak sa imahen ni Maria bilang simbolo ng paggalang, pagmamahal, debosyon at pananampalataya kay Maria.

Kaugnay nito, ang Parokya ng San Juan Apostol at Ebanghelista sa pamumuno ng PPC (Parish Pastoral Council) sa tulong ng Catholic Women’s League, (CWL) ay magsasagawa ng isang makulay na pagdiriwang ng Santacruzan at Flores de Mayo. Ito po ay upang ipakita ang kahalagahan ng ating pananampalataya, kagandahan ng ating kultura, ng ating pakikipag kapwa tao at pakikiisa sa komunidad lalo na sa ating simbahan /parokya. Ito po ay isasagawa sa Sabado, ika-30 ng Mayo, 2026 sa ganap na 2:00 ng Hapon.

Noong Sabado, ika-23 ng Mayo isinagawa ang first and last canvassing ng mga kandidata sapagkat ang Santacruzan at Flores de Mayo ay mayaman sa mga personalidad na may kanya-kanyang simbolismo at kahulugan.

Buong galak po naming ipinakikilala sa inyo ang mga lumahok na kandidata at ang personalidad na kanilang gagampanan.
