Stepping out of the laboratory and leaving an indelible mark on campus journalism are Medical Technology graduates and KDCEye powerhouses Angelica P. Irabon and Albert Bryan D. Gerona from BSMT Batch Luminara.
Demonstrating equal brilliance in writing the stories of the student body, Tourism Management graduates and media champions Hazel Joy F. Abella and Jessa Jules E. Berber from the KDCI-Katurismo Class of 2026 have shown that hospitality and sharp journalistic insight go hand in hand.
By beautifully intertwining their distinct academic disciplines with a fierce passion for truth, these newly minted alumni leave behind a powerful legacy of editorial leadership, proving that the pen remains a mighty tool in the hands of KDCI's future leaders.

As the nation commemorates National Flag Day on May 28, 2026 Filipinos honor the Philippine flag as a symbol of freedom, unity, and patriotism. The observance recalls the historic Battle of Alapan in 1898, where the flag was first raised in victory against Spanish forces.
Schools, government offices, and communities held simultaneous flag-raising ceremonies to mark the historic occasion. Filipinos proudly displayed the countryโs colors as a sign of respect for national heroes and their sacrifices.
The celebration aims to strengthen nationalism and encourage Filipinos to uphold the values of responsibility and unity. More than a national symbol, the Philippine flag continues to remind the nation of the courage, sacrifice, and shared identity that shape its future.

On Wednesday, May 27, 2026, Muslims in the Philippines will celebrate Eid al-Adha, which is also called the "Festival of Sacrifice." This important holiday honors the story of Prophet Ibrahimโs (Abraham) deep faith and marks the end of the yearly Hajj pilgrimage to Mecca. To celebrate, families will gather early in the morning for special prayers, wear their best clothes, and enjoy big meals together. A main tradition of the day is sacrificing livestock and splitting the meat into three equal parts to share with family, friends, and people in need, showing the importance of kindness and helping others.
May this blessed day bring peace, unity, and kindness to everyone around the world.

Success after graduation is often measured through achievements and titles, but a deeper journey full of uncertainty, growth, and self-discovery lies beyond every diploma.
Held last May 20, 2026 at the KDCI Campus TLS, the talk was delivered by Miss Zeddy Kate E. Amar, a registered psychometrician, as the seminar became more than just a discussion on workplace ethics and professionalism. Facilitated by the College Organization of Peer Facilitators, the event served as a meaningful reminder that before students embark on being professionals, they are first and foremost human beings who must navigate expectations, pressures, fears, and the uncertain realities of life after college.
Throughout the seminar, graduating students reflected not only on their professional competence and ethical standards, but also on the importance of accountability and character in the workplace as future professionals prepare to enter a highly demanding world. The discussion highlighted reassurance, and resilience, and that setbacks and self-doubts were natural parts of the journey towards becoming better individuals and professionals.
Beyond developing competent workers, the event ultimately aimed to inspire individuals who lead with empathy, responsibility, and courage. Through meaningful insights and a reflective meditation activity, participants were encouraged to move forward not only as degree holders, but as people capable of creating positive impact within their communities and future workplaces.
