📚 MSU-SND Library: Compliant and Committed to Academic Excellence!

In line with the Inspection and Monitoring Activity conducted by the Professional Regulatory Board of Agriculture at MSU-Sultan Naga Dimaporo today, March 05, 2026, the MSU-SND Library proudly affirms its overall compliance with the required academic and instructional support standards.

The visit, led by Hon. Lilia A. Portales and Hon. Anastacia G. Notarte of the PRC Board of Agriculture, together with Hon. Cleofas L. Alvarado and Hon. Richfield G. Dublas, included an assessment of institutional facilities and learning resources that support the Bachelor of Science in Agriculture program.

The MSU-SND Library demonstrated its commitment to providing adequate, relevant, and accessible learning resources, ensuring that students, faculty, and researchers are supported with quality references, updated materials, and conducive learning spaces essential for agricultural education.

This recognition reflects the library’s continuous efforts to uphold academic excellence, resource accessibility, and quality support services in alignment with national standards.

As MSU-SND anticipates the upcoming Certificate of Compliance from the PRC, the library remains steadfast in its mission to empower the academic community through knowledge, innovation, and service.

With profound sorrow, MSU-LNAC mourns the passing of our beloved MSU System President, 𝐀𝐭𝐭𝐲. 𝐇𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐥 𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐚𝐫𝐢 𝐃. 𝐌𝐚𝐩𝐮𝐩𝐮𝐧𝐨. His unwavering dedication, visionary leadership, and heartfelt support have left an enduring impact on our campus and across the entire MSU System.
President Mapupuno was not only a leader but a true servant of the people—embodying wisdom, humility, and integrity. Through his guidance, he uplifted institutions, empowered communities, and inspired generations. His legacy will forever be etched in the history of MSU-LNAC.

Allahummaghfir lahu warhamhu wa ‘afihi wa’fu ‘anhu. Wa adkhilhu al-jannah wa a’idhhu min ‘adhab al-qabr wa ‘adhab an-naar.
“O Allah, forgive him and have mercy on him, grant him well-being and pardon him. Admit him to Paradise and protect him from the punishment of the grave and the torment of the Fire.”
May Allah (SWT) grant him the highest place in Jannatul Firdaus, and may His comfort and mercy be upon the bereaved family and the entire MSU community.
Though he has returned to his Creator, his light continues to guide us—his legacy shining brightly in every scholar, educator, and dream he helped shape.

Behind every successful program compliance, are librarians and library personnel who assist in ensuring that all required CHED compliances are met. From selecting up-to-date library references to providing resources that are in line with the guidelines, the library also conducted discussions or workshop for the faculty on how to look for Online Educational Resources (OER's) which can supplement to the unavailability of some references. 📚❤️

MSU-LNAC Library is pleased to announce that we have now officially acquired subscription to both Philippine Agricultural Scientist Publications and Zendy Digital Library! 🎉

With this, we would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to our dedicated and visionary leader, Dr. Indihra B. Dimaporo-Tawantawan, the administration and the entire team for their unwavering support and commitment in making this achievement possible. Their leadership and collaboration have been instrumental in bringing these valuable resources to our academic community.

Types of Research Gaps

Miles (2017) proposed a taxonomy of research gaps, built on the two previous models. It consist of seven core research gaps:
(a) Evidence Gap;
(b) Knowledge Gap;
(c) Practical-Knowledge Conflict Gap;
(d) Methodological Gap;
(e) Empirical Gap; and
(f) Theoretical Gap;
(g) Population Gap.
