𝗕𝗔𝗦𝗔𝗛𝗜𝗡 | 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗘𝗱, 𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗴𝗮 𝗽𝗮𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗻 𝗻𝗮 𝘀𝘂𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗼𝗱 𝘀𝗮 '𝗻𝗼 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗽𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰𝘆'

LUNGSOD NG PASIG, 6 Agosto 2024 – Nagpaalala ang Kagawaran ng Edukasyon (DepEd) sa mga paaralan na bawal ang pangongolekta ng anumang bayarin mula sa mga mag-aaral at g**o sa lahat ng pampubliko at pribadong elementarya at sekondaryang paaralan sa panahon ng enrollment at kailanman sa buong taong panuruan.

Sa DepEd Memorandum No. 41, s. 2024, o ang Reiteration of the “No Collection Policy” in Schools, pinaalalahanan ni Kalihim Sonny Angara ang mga field at school official na ipinagbabawal ang pagbebenta ng mga tiket at/o ang koleksyon ng anumang anyo ng kontribusyon mula sa mga mag-aaral at g**o sa publiko at pribadong paaralan, kolehiyo at unibersidad.

Saklaw nito ang sinumang tao para sa anumang proyekto o layunin, boluntaryo man o hindi.

Gayunpaman, hindi saklaw ng nasabing patakaran ang mga bayarin sa pagiging miyembro ng Red Cross, Girl Scouts of the Philippines, at Boy Scouts of the Philippines.

Hindi rin nito sakop ang mga kontribusyon ng mga magulang at iba pang donor at stakeholder para sa suporta ng barrio high schools.

Alinsunod sa Republic Act No. 4206, gaya ng amyendahan, maaaring patawan ng multa o pagkakakulong ng hindi hihigit sa isang buwan o pareho ang mga hindi susunod, depende sa pasya ng korte.

Pinayuhan din ang mga kawani ng DepEd na iwasan ang mga hindi makatwirang paghingi at pangongolekta ng mga kontribusyon na nakasaad sa DepEd Order No. 49, s. 2022, na kilala rin bilang Amendments to DO No. 47, s. 2022, o ang Promotion of Professionalism in the Implementation and Delivery of Basic Education and Programs and Services.
