TUGON para kay Kuya Ronel, a friend & fellow Artist at Dantayan Artist Village .

Ronel Nabor is from Madalag and is a coconut farmer/gatherer, a bonsai, penjing, and diorama artist, barber and pot maker. He is stricken with cancer and now undergoing chemotheraphy.

Music speaks when words fall short. And for this special gathering, these incredible bands are taking the stage — not just to perform, but to stand in solidarity for Kuya Ronel. ❤️

🔮 Few clips from my 3-hr debut live set sa Weaving Studio & Cafe, Kalibo (Jan 17, 2026) + spontaneous collab with poet, author, spoken word artist Makata-ɤamad aka Willer Manares.

Konting backstory kung paano kami nagkacollab: dalawang araw bago yung set, Day 1 ng Holiday Market, pumunta kami para mag-setup ng mga latag naming artworks - mindspacetrip x (← please check my visual art page). May isang booth doon na puro libro, eh, may natural pull talaga ako sa mga libro e. Ayun, nagkakwentuhan kami, nagkavibes, tapos biglang aya na ko kay Makata-ɤamad: “Nagspospoken word ka? May set ako sa Sabado, collab tayo!” Hehe. At ayun na nga napanganak na ang DORAT x MAKATA-ɤAMAD experience! Haha!

After almost a decade mula nang simulan ko tong journey na ’to, finally nakapag-live set din at 3 oras pa! Haha. Salamat sa experience! Manifesting pa ng mas maraming pagkakataon na ganito! Yeeha!
