The Retreat of BECED 4, BSED Science 4, and BSED Mathematics 4 at San Columbano Retreat House, Batang, Himamaylan City was truly a blessed and memorable experience.

We sincerely thank our facilitator, Sir Mederick Capunong, for his guidance, wisdom, and dedication in leading our students through this meaningful journey of reflection and renewal.

This retreat has been a valuable opportunity to strengthen faith, foster unity, and inspire growth as future educators. We are proud of our students for embracing this experience with openness and commitment.

Deepest gratitude to everyone who made our recollection today, May 2, 2026, at Little Way College Seminary and Sto. Niño Shrine such a transformative and soul-stirring experience.

This sacred time of reflection was made even more meaningful by the shared presence of our diverse academic community, including students from BSED English 1, BECED 1, BSED Values Education 2, BSED Mathematics 2, BSP 2 A&B, BECED 3, BSED Science 3, BSED Mathematics 3, and BEED 3.

Together, we found a much-needed space to pause, breathe, and reconnect with our spiritual foundations amidst the busy flow of our semester.

We are immensely grateful to our dedicated facilitators—Sir Jason Vinson, Sir Richard Arnado, Sir Gelou Beljera, Sir Dominic Gallos, Sir Reymar Alegarbes, and Sir Jessi Rey Agita—whose wisdom and guidance helped us navigate our inner thoughts and find clarity throughout the day. Your commitment to our holistic growth has left a lasting impact on our hearts, providing us with the strength to move forward with renewed purpose.

As we leave the peace of the shrine behind, we carry with us the lessons of faith and the bonds of fellowship that will surely guide us as future educators and professionals. Thank you for this beautiful journey of renewal.

On April 27, 2026, we offer our sincere gratitude to the Lord for the successful retreat of our BPED 4 students, held amidst the peaceful surroundings of San Columbano, Batang, Himamaylan City.

We express our heartfelt thanks to our facilitator, Sem. Vengie Ibañez, whose dedicated guidance and insightful leadership helped make this spiritual journey a truly transformative experience for everyone involved.

This time of retreat allowed our graduating students to pause and reflect on their years of growth, providing them the spiritual nourishment needed to renew their hearts and face their future careers with a deeper sense of mission and a spirit of service.

“God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.”
– 2 Corinthians 5:21

Reflection:

This verse shows something deep and quiet: someone who did no wrong chose to carry what was not His—out of love.

It makes us pause and think. We often hide our mistakes or carry them alone, but this reminds us that we were already seen, and still loved. If someone took our place, then maybe we are more valued than we think.

It also asks something from us. If we have been forgiven, can we forgive others? If we have been loved freely, can we love the same way?

So take a moment to ask yourself:
Am I still holding on to things that have already been carried for me?
Am I living like I am forgiven?

Sometimes, the hardest part is not receiving grace—
it is believing it is truly yours.

Reflection:

Sometimes life doesn’t go the way we want. Things can be hard, confusing, or even painful. But this verse reminds us that God is still working, even when we don’t understand what’s happening.

It helps us trust that our struggles are not useless. In time, God can turn them into something good. Our part is to keep loving Him and not lose faith, even in difficult moments.
