USM Batwise Project

The 𝗨𝗦𝗠 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝗪𝗜𝗦𝗘 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 successfully conducted a 𝗕𝗮𝘁 𝗛𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽 on 𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹 𝟮𝟵, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, at 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘆 𝗖𝘂𝘆𝗮𝗽𝗼𝗻, 𝗞𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗮𝗻, 𝗡𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗼𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗼.🦇

The activity was spearheaded by the Project Leader of USM BatWISE, 𝘿𝙧. 𝙅𝙤𝙝𝙣 𝘼𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙨 𝙏𝙖𝙗𝙤𝙧𝙖, together with the BatWISE Team and community participants.

The workshop focused on promoting wildlife awareness, proper bat handling techniques, and conservation practices, aiming to strengthen the participants’ understanding of the ecological importance of bats and their role in maintaining a balanced ecosystem. Participants were also introduced to approaches that encourage environmental responsibility and biodiversity protection within the community.

This initiative highlights the importance of collaboration among local stakeholders, volunteers, and partner sectors in supporting wildlife conservation efforts and sustainable coexistence with nature.

The USM BatWISE Team extends its sincere gratitude to everyone who participated and supported the success of the activity.
