The Local Youth Development Office proudly congratulates 𝗞𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗩𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲 𝗘. 𝗕𝗲𝗿𝗯𝗼𝗻, a true young Quezonian pride and a recent Senior High School graduate, for being part of the team from Saint Paul University of the Philippines behind the innovative study, "𝗣𝗘𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺: 𝗔𝗻 𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗣𝗘𝗧 𝗕𝗼𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲-𝘁𝗼-𝗙𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗠𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗲.”

Through their brilliant research and commitment to innovation, their team successfully earned the 𝗧𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘂𝗺 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱, the highest award, and secured a place in the 𝗧𝗼𝗽 𝟭𝟬 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝟭: 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗘𝗻𝘃𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗼𝗱𝗶𝗮, which comes with a 𝗨𝗦𝗗 𝟭𝟬𝟬 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 per person to join in a conference at 𝗞𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗮 𝗟𝘂𝗺𝗽𝘂𝗿 or 𝗦𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗽𝗼𝗿𝗲. They also received a 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 of a 𝟱𝟬% 𝗨𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗱𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗧𝘂𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗙𝗲𝗲 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗮𝘁 𝗪𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻 𝗦𝘆𝗱𝗻𝗲𝘆 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 (𝗪𝗦𝗨).

Their innovation carries real significance as it offers a creative and sustainable way of transforming plastic waste into useful filament, promoting both environmental responsibility and practical technological solutions. It is a strong reminder that the ideas of young people can help address real-world challenges and contribute to a greener future.

Kate’s achievement reflects not only intelligence and creativity, but also the bold potential of Quezonian youth to rise, lead, and innovate. Her success brings honor to her team, her school, and the entire Municipality of Quezon.
