𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐩𝐨𝐥𝐨 𝐠𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐬 𝐨𝐧 𝐁𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐑𝐚𝐝𝐲𝐨'𝐬 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐓𝐚𝐥𝐤𝐬

QUEZON, Isabela – To provide accurate information and address concerns regarding the opening of classes for School Year 2026–2027, Quezon National High School (QNHS) Principal IV Joel R. Antipolo guested on the School Talks Program of Batang Radyo 104 FM on the morning of July 1, 2026.

Joining the discussion were teacher-broadcaster Nathan Cabangbang and senior student-broadcasters Zaira Agdeppa and Michelle Macarubbo. The program served as a platform to clarify and disseminate important information to stakeholders regarding current issues and concerns faced by the school, including the opening of the school year, the implementation of the three-term academic calendar, and the strengthened curriculum.

During the live broadcast, Antipolo discussed the school's preparations and policies to ensure the smooth and effective implementation of educational programs. He also highlighted the security protocols being strictly observed by the school in response to recent safety concerns, particularly following the shooting incident in Tacloban City. Among the measures discussed were strengthened campus security, the enforcement of the prohibition on cellphone use during class hours, and the campaign against minor motorcycle driving to promote student safety and discipline.

Antipolo emphasized the importance of the collaboration among parents, learners, teachers, and community stakeholders in maintaining a safe and conducive learning environment. He encouraged everyone to support school policies that prioritize the welfare and protection of students.

The school head likewise expressed his gratitude to the top management of the Department of Education Region II for their continuous guidance and support. He specifically acknowledged the leadership of Regional Director Benjamin D. Paragas and Schools Division Superintendent Rachel R. Llana for their commitment to quality education and responsive governance.

The School Talks Program is part of the laboratory broadcasting program of Quezon National High School, designed to provide students with hands-on experience in radio broadcasting while serving as an effective channel for information dissemination and community engagement.

𝑺𝑰𝑳𝑰𝑷 𝑪𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒔, 𝑮𝒓𝒂𝒅𝒆 7-𝑺𝒂𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒏 𝑱𝒐𝒊𝒏 𝑾𝒆𝒆𝒌𝒍𝒚 𝑳𝑨𝑲𝑨𝑫-𝑷𝑼𝑳𝑶𝑻 𝑫𝒓𝒊𝒗𝒆

Student-photographers and filmmakers from SILIP Creatives, together with Grade 7-Saturn, actively participated in the weekly LAKAD-PULOT clean-up drive spearheaded by Barangay Alunan. The activity was led by no less than Barangay Captain Hon. Roberto C. Appal and the barangay officials.

Guided by their advisers, Sir Nathan and Sir Kim, the students did their share in caring for Mother Earth while embodying the spirit of volunteerism and community involvement. Their participation reflects the commitment of the youth to environmental stewardship and their support for initiatives that promote a cleaner and greener community.

We vow to use the lens of our cameras to uncover, document, and share stories that inspire understanding through a deeper perspective.
