TIGNAN | Pagsasagawa ng Cleanup Drive Activity para sa Buwan ng Hunyo

June 1, 2024 - Nagsagawa ng Cleanup Drive Activity ang mga opisyal ng Sangguniang Kabataan kasama ang organisasyon ng Greener Joshua Generation (GJG) para sa unang araw ng buwan ng Hunyo, isang serbisyong pangkapaligiran.

Ang Cleanup Drive ay isinagawa sa Barangay Samonte Nursery kung saan ay nagbunot ng damo ang mga dumalo at namulot ng mga basura.

Ang inisyatibong ito ay nagbibigay-diin sa kahalagahan ng pakikilahok ng mga kabataan sa pagpapanatili ng maayos na barangay. Ang pinagsamang pagsisikap ng mga opisyal ng SK at GJG-Samonte ay nagpapakita ng dedikasyon sa pagpapaunlad ng positibo at pagpapanatili sa kalinisan ng kapaligiran para sa mga residente ng Barangay Samonte.

TODAY | LAKAD PULOT PARA SA KALIKASAN

March 2, 2024 - Some GJG - Samonte Chapter officers and members, together with the SK Officials held a Lakad-pulot activity today as part of the environmental advocacy and initiative of the young greener minds aiming for a greener future.

Despite of the quality of the pictures, it is a clear evidence that this activity is a great collective action for our environment.

Ecowalk Action | GJG Samonte Chapter officers and active members, together with the SK Officials Launch participated in the "Kalinisan sa Bagong Pilipinas Program" today, January 6, 2024

In a resounding display of environmental activism, the Greener Joshua Generation of Samonte Chapter has joined forces with the SK officials for an Ecowalk Action.

This initiative, prompted by the 'Kalinisan sa Bagong Pilipinas Program,' kicked off today, January 6, 2023, with fervent youth leaders taking charge across designated areas in Barangay Samonte.

As we embody the brand of leadership of a "Bagong Pilipinas which calls for transformations in all sectors of society and government, the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) launched the KALINISAN (Kalinga at Inisyatiba para sa Malinis na Bayan) Program today, January 6, 2024.

According to the Memorandum order, the Kalinisan Program is a convergence Initiative to consolidate all efforts of the government to maintain and provide a healthy and safe environment for all by capacitating local government units and enabling community participation anchored on the tradition of "bayanihan".

Specifically, it aims to:
a) To raise awareness and encourage participation among the Filipino Citizens on environmental responsibility magh proper solid waste management;

b) To encourage local government units to invest in programs, projects and activities on solid waste management and ecological practices; and

c) To set up a recognition system for the cleanest local government units

Consequently, the national launch will coincide with the celebration of the Annual Community Development Day pursuant to Proclamation No. 341, which is very relevant to the cause of this initiative as both foster and promote self-help development in the time-honored Filipino tradition of "bayanihan" thus enabling our people to actively participate in the growth and prosperity of the country.

The 'Kalinisan sa Bagong Pilipinas Program' serves as the driving force behind this eco-conscious movement, propelling the SK and GJG - Samonte Chapter members into action. This collaboration underscores the potent role of youth engagement in shaping a Bagong Pilipinas that values and preserves its natural resources.

This collaborative effort is poised to become a model for other communities, showcasing the transformative potential of unified youth-led initiatives.

LATE UPLOAD | SK Lingkod sa Pailaw Initiative with the Greener Joshua Generation Organization

Sangguniang Kabataan of Samonte Officials held a Duty sa Pailaw of Quezon Isabela on December 5 and December 12, 2023 together with the following Chapters of GJG Organization who conducted an eco walk action. (GJG Samonte, GJG Aurora, and GJG Santos).

This is to ensure the cleanliness and orderliness of the bright side of the Municipal Hall's Starlight, the crowd's presence as they visit the Pailaw, and the Christmas vibe it offers for the Madlang Quezonian.

Together with the Sangguniang Kabataan ng Samonte Officials, the eco walk action continues to be a commitment of the Greener minds aiming to achieve a greener future.

Officers, active members, and SK Officials also checked the Bamboo Nursery and did some weeding for the maintenance and cleanliness of the area.

Conversations unfold amidst the greenery, not in words, but in the silent language of conservation – a dialogue that transcends boundaries and echoes across generations.
