The practice of architecture in the Philippines is governed by 𝙍𝙚𝙥𝙪𝙗𝙡𝙞𝙘 𝘼𝙘𝙩 𝙉𝙤. 9266 (𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝘼𝙧𝙘𝙝𝙞𝙩𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚 𝘼𝙘𝙩 𝙤𝙛 2004). Under 𝙎𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 29 – 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙝𝙞𝙗𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙋𝙧𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙘𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝘼𝙧𝙘𝙝𝙞𝙩𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙋𝙚𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝘾𝙡𝙖𝙪𝙨𝙚, only 𝙍𝙚𝙜𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙙 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙇𝙞𝙘𝙚𝙣𝙨𝙚𝙙 𝘼𝙧𝙘𝙝𝙞𝙩𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙨 (𝙍𝙇𝘼𝙨) or those holding a valid Temporary/Special Permit issued in accordance with the law are authorized to practice or offer to practice architecture in the Philippines.

The law likewise prohibits, among others:
✅ Practicing or offering to practice architecture without a valid PRC license;
✅ Using the title "𝘼𝙧𝙘𝙝𝙞𝙩𝙚𝙘𝙩" or any designation that implies one is an architect without being duly registered and licensed;
✅ Allowing the implementation of architectural plans or documents prepared by persons not authorized to practice architecture; and
✅ Violating the provisions of RA 9266, its Implementing Rules and Regulations, and other rules issued by the Professional Regulatory Board of Architecture.

These provisions exist to protect the 𝙝𝙚𝙖𝙡𝙩𝙝, 𝙨𝙖𝙛𝙚𝙩𝙮, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙬𝙚𝙡𝙛𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙥𝙪𝙗𝙡𝙞𝙘, while preserving the integrity and standards of the architectural profession.

If you have information regarding the suspected unauthorized practice of architecture or any possible violation of Republic Act No. 9266 we encourage you to report the matter to UAP Iriga-Rinconada Chapter through our official communication channels. Reports received will be handled responsibly and referred to the appropriate authorities when warranted.

All reports will be treated with appropriate confidentiality.

The United Architects of the Philippines – Iriga Rinconada Chapter extends its heartfelt gratitude to the Local Government Unit of Balatan for the invitation to be part of ERPAT: Ikaw Naman, a meaningful Post-Father's Day Celebration honoring the fathers of the Municipality of Balatan.

We commend the exemplary leadership of Hon. Ar. Domingo Abliter, Municipal Mayor of Balatan, together with the Sangguniang Bayan, department heads, and the dedicated LGU staff, for organizing a program that recognizes the invaluable role of fathers in nurturing strong families and resilient communities.

We are honored that our Chapter President, Ar. Mai Lovely D. Siguenza, UAP, served as the Guest of Honor during this inspiring celebration, sharing in the municipality's commitment to community development and family empowerment.

As part of our Chapter's continuing Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives, the UAP Iriga–Rinconada Chapter proudly donated two (2) Lifetime Foldable Tables to support future community programs and activities of the Municipality of Balatan. We hope this modest contribution will continue to serve the community for years to come.
