So there I was, feeling all professional, ready to impress a new client on Zoom. I had my notes, my pitch, my best “I’ve-got-it-together” smile on. Five minutes into the call, the client starts looking confused. Then amused. Then… concerned.

Why?

Because I’d been talking non-stop… **with my mic on mute.** 😂

To make it worse, I even asked, “Does that make sense?” and nodded like we were vibing. Meanwhile, I was basically mime-performing a TED Talk on strategy.
