As part of the vibrant celebration of the Heritage Exhibit last April 30, 2026 became a living journey through the identity of our peopleβfrom the timeless traditions of rice farming, fishing, and salt farming, to the rich flavors of our beloved kankanen and the artistry of local craftsmanship.
The exhibit also honored the colorful legacy of Kankanaey and Ibaloi culture, showcased the beauty of our tourism sites, revisited the history of Infanta, and paid tribute to the prominent personalities who helped shape our community through the years.
More than an exhibit, it was a celebration of roots, resilience, and the stories passed from one generation to another.

The sea came alive on May 1, 2026, as Barangay Cato celebrated Pistaβy Dayatβa vibrant tribute to life by the waters, where faith, culture, and community flowed as one.
The morning began peacefully with a Holy Mass to give gratitude to all the blessings received by the locals from the sea, followed by a colorful parade of fluvial boats and of beautifully decorated boats and exciting boat races.
As evening fell, the celebration moved to the stage with lively dance performances that had everyone, both locals and visitors, joining in the fun.
From the quiet prayers at sunrise to the high-energy dancing at night, the celebration was a wonderful display of unity, local culture, and tradition.
Before we conclude the month of April, let us take a meaningful journey into our rich food heritage as we continue celebrating the spirit of Taraon Festival.
In collaboration with the Public Information Office of Infanta, the Cultural Mapping Team under the Municipal Tourism, Culture and the Arts Office proudly presents the slow, laborious, and time-honored process behind one of our treasured native kankanenβKundandit.
More than a delicacy, Kundandit is a taste of memory, tradition, and identity, crafted through patience, passed down through generations, and woven into the cultural story of Infanta.
Join us as we honor the hands, heritage, and humble artistry behind this beloved native delicacy, where every step tells a story of our people.
πΏ Our past. Our responsibility. Our living heritage.
Beneath the wide, whispering canopy of Infantaβs old acacia trees lives more than memory. It breathes life.
A silent witness to generations, these trees has stood through time, offering shade, shelter, and a gathering place for stories, laughter, and tradition.
Its roots hold our history, while its branches remind us of the life we continue to nurture as a community.
But like our heritage, it calls for care.
As we celebrate who we are, may we also protect what sustains us. Let this old acacia be a reminder that preserving our environment is preserving our identityβbecause every leaf, every root, and every tree is part of our story.
