Today, we gather in remembrance and gratitude for the beautiful life of Dr. Ester Carmina Apao, whose leadership and devotion to the College Department have forever shaped our community.

Dean Apao was more than an administrator—she was a mentor, a guide, and a reassuring presence to faculty, staff, and students. With wisdom and compassion, she championed academic excellence while nurturing each individual entrusted to her care. Her belief in the potential of every Spistian inspired many to dream bigger, work harder, and become better.

Her years of service were marked by integrity, humility, and a genuine heart for education. The programs she strengthened, the standards she upheld, and the lives she influenced stand as lasting testaments to her dedication.

Though she may no longer walk beside us, her teachings, values, and spirit will continue to echo in our classrooms and corridors.

Rest in eternal peace, Dean Apao. You will always be remembered, deeply missed, and forever honored within the halls of SPIST.
