Mula sa Educators' Guild for Excellence, mariin naming kinokondena ang tahasang pagtataksil sa bayan ng mga politikong nakaupo sa puwesto na ginagamit ang kanilang kapangyarihan upang makatakas sa pananagutan sa mga batas na kanilang nilabag sa ating bansa. Panagutin ang mga kurakot at tanggalin sa Senado ang mga senador na humahadlang sa pagpapatupad ng hustisya at pananagutan!

Mula sa pakikipagtakbuhan sa loob ng Senado upang takasan ang mga awtoridad, pagpapakita ng kawalan ng kakayahan ng ilang senador sa kanilang tungkulin, hanggang sa mga balita ng sunod-sunod na pagpapaputok ng baril sa loob ng Senado na naglagay sa panganib sa buhay ng ating mga mamamahayag—patuloy na inilalantad ng mga pangyayaring ito ang kabulukan ng sistemang dapat sana’y nagsisilbi sa taumbayan. Kung hindi ka pa rin mulat, panahon nang pilitin mong imulat ang iyong mga mata sa katotohanan!

𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗚𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗨𝗟𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦, 𝗡𝗘𝗪𝗟𝗬 𝗟𝗜𝗖𝗘𝗡𝗦𝗘𝗗 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗙𝗘𝗦𝗦𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗟 𝗧𝗘𝗔𝗖𝗛𝗘𝗥𝗦!

It is with great pride and joy that we introduce the newly licensed professional teachers from Cavite State University – Imus Campus who successfully passed the March 2026 Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (LEPT).

CvSU–Imus Campus proudly placed 3rd in the ranking for Secondary Education institutions with 90 to 99 examinees and at least a 90% passing rate, garnering an impressive 98.36% passing rate with 60 out of 61 examinees passing the board examination. Meanwhile, the Elementary Education program achieved an 80.95% passing rate, with 17 out of 21 examinees successfully passing.

This remarkable milestone is not only a proud achievement for our institution, but also a testament to the dedication, perseverance, and hard work of every future educator who made this success possible.

For consecutive years, the Educators’ Guild for Excellence (EdGE) and even the campus’ highest governing bodies have faced a declining number of aspiring student leaders willing to take on the challenge of leadership. As a result, students are left with fewer choices in selecting leaders who will genuinely serve with integrity and purpose.

In response, EdGE invites all aspiring student leaders under the education program to join our leadership webinar featuring three generations of EdGE leaders: Ms. Miraluna Dela Peña, Mr. Ace Adriane Datulayta, and Ms. Kris Claire R. Yupano.

In accordance with a formal directive from 𝘿𝙧. 𝘾𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙖 𝙈. While the event was originally slated for May 12–15, the new date is 𝘀𝗮𝗶𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗱.

This sudden adjustment is to ensure that all programs are executed with the highest level of excellence and to allow everyone sufficient time to prepare for a truly impactful celebration. Please be advised that further instructions and the updated schedule of activities will be released by the Teacher Education Department.

Last May 04, 2026, the Guild conducted its monthly meeting together with the executive officers and office members to discuss the preparations and plans for the upcoming Education Week celebration. The meeting also tackled other organizational concerns, upcoming activities, and future initiatives of the Guild.

Through collaboration and active participation, the Guild continues to promote leadership, unity, and excellence in serving the academic community.

Last April 24, 2026, the Educators' Guild for Excellence successfully conducted a webinar entitled “Breaking the Math Anxiety Cycle: Strategies for Stress-Free Learning.” The event addressed the growing concerns of students and educators regarding effective and engaging Mathematics instruction while emphasizing pedagogical approaches that directly respond to learners’ needs and experiences.

The webinar was hosted by our very own Ms. Kleoj Tan and Mr. MJ Guinitaran, whose energy and enthusiasm helped create an engaging and interactive learning environment throughout the program. The event also featured insightful and meaningful discussions from our distinguished speakers, 𝗠𝗿. 𝗥𝘆𝗮𝗻 𝗘𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗲𝗹 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝘇𝗮𝗻, 𝗠𝗿. 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗹𝗼 𝗟𝘂𝗰𝗲𝗿𝗼, and 𝗠𝗿. 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗹 𝗔𝗹𝗰𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗿𝗮, who shared valuable strategies, experiences, and perspectives on making Mathematics learning more accessible, enjoyable, and less intimidating for students.

Through the webinar, participants gained a deeper understanding of the causes of math anxiety and explored practical teaching strategies that promote confidence, critical thinking, and active participation among learners. The discussions highlighted the importance of creating supportive classrooms that encourage growth, collaboration, and positive learning experiences in Mathematics education.

The Educators' Guild for Excellence remains committed to fostering academic excellence and empowering both educators and students through meaningful programs and initiatives. By continuously organizing webinars and learning opportunities such as this, the guild aims to inspire innovative teaching practices and contribute to the development of more inclusive, learner-centered educational environments.

Ngayong katatapos lamang ng pagdiriwang ng Mayo Uno para sa Araw ng mga Manggagawa, hindi naman lingid sa kaalaman ng lahat na bilang isang manggagawang Pilipino na nasa laylayan, isa sa mga panawid-gutom sa oras ng krisis ang mga de-latang mabibili sa murang halaga sa mga tindahan o grocery store katulad na lamang ng sardinas, meatloaf, at hindi mawawala ang corned beef. Bukod kasi sa mas mura ang mga ito ay madali at mabilis pang lutuin at ihain sa hapag. Mula rito, makikita natin kung gaano kalaki ang halaga ng mga de-latang ito bilang panawid-gutom sa mga oras na kapos na kapos ang mga nasa laylayan ng lipunan.

𝗔𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗳, 𝗸𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗱 𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗴𝗮 𝗱𝗲-𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗮, 𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗶𝘆𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘀𝘆𝗼𝗻 𝗻𝗮 𝗸𝗮𝗽𝗼𝘀 𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝘁 𝗵𝗶𝗿𝗮𝗽 𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗴𝗮 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗴𝗮𝗴𝗮𝘄𝗮 𝗮𝘁 𝗽𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝘆𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗼 𝗮𝘆 𝗽𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗹𝗼𝘆 𝗽𝗮 𝗿𝗶𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗮𝗴𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗻 𝗻𝗶𝗹𝗮 𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗮𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝘆 𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝗮 𝗸𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗮 𝗻𝗴 𝗸𝗮𝗸𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗻. Sa simpleng anyo nito, ang corned beef ay nagiging simbolo ng katatagan, isang paalala na kahit limitado ang yaman, may kakayahan pa ring bumangon, magtiis, at magpatuloy ang bawat pamilyang Pilipino. Ito ang pagkain na sumasalo sa gutom, ngunit higit pa rito, sumasagisag ito sa hindi matatawarang tibay ng loob ng mga manggagawa na araw-araw nakikipagsapalaran para sa kanilang kabuhayan. Sa bawat pagbukas ng lata, tila ba binubuksan din ang kuwento ng pagsisikap, sakripisyo, at pag-asa, mga haliging bumubuo sa diwa ng pagiging Pilipino.

Subalit sa kabilang banda, may isa pang mas mabigat at masalimuot na kahulugan na ikinakabit sa salitang “corned beef” sa kasalukuyang panahon. 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗮 𝘀𝗮 𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗲𝗸𝘁𝗼𝗿, 𝗹𝗮𝗹𝗼 𝗻𝗮 𝘀𝗮 𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗮𝘆 𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗴𝗮 𝗮𝗸𝘁𝗶𝗯𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗲𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝘆𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝘆 𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗽𝗼𝗿𝗮 𝗻𝗴 𝗸𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗵𝗮𝘀𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝘁 𝗸𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗴-𝗸𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘂𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗻. Ginamit ito bilang bansag sa mga kabataang pinaslang at inilarawan sa paraang tila ba sila’y walang mukha at pagkatao, parang de latang dinurog at pinagtagpi-tagpi. Sa ganitong konteksto, ang corned beef ay hindi na lamang pagkain na tumutugon sa pisikal na gutom, kundi nagiging simbolo rin ng panlipunang sugat at pagkawala ng dignidad. Ang ganitong pagbansag ay hindi lamang pagbaluktot sa kahulugan ng isang simpleng pagkain, kundi pagyurak din sa pagkatao ng mga indibidwal na may pangarap, paninindigan, at boses sa lipunan.

Dito natin makikita ang matinding kontradiksyon: 𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗵𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝗮𝗴𝗮𝘆 𝗻𝗮 𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗯𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗴𝗮𝘆-𝗯𝘂𝗵𝗮𝘆 𝗮𝘁 𝗹𝗮𝗸𝗮𝘀 𝘀𝗮 𝗶𝘀𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮, 𝗮𝘆 𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘀𝘆𝗼𝗻 𝗻𝗴 𝗸𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗵𝗮𝘀𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝘁 𝗽𝗮𝗴𝗸𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗹 𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝘂𝗵𝗮𝘆. Ang corned beef, bilang simbolo, ay nahahati sa dalawang mukha: isa na nagpapakita ng resiliency at survival ng karaniwang Pilipino, at isa na sumasalamin sa mapait na realidad ng panunupil at pagbansag sa mga kabataang lumalaban para sa kanilang paninindigan. Sa ganitong pagtingin, hindi na lamang ito usapin ng pagkain, kundi usapin ng kahulugan at kung paano natin pinapahalagahan ang buhay at dignidad ng kapwa.

Sa huli, ang hamon sa atin ay hindi lamang kilalanin ang corned beef bilang simpleng pagkain o simbolo ng pagtitiis, kundi bilang paalala na ang tunay na laban ng mga Pilipino, manggagawa man o estudyante, ay hindi lamang laban sa gutom, kundi laban para sa dignidad, hustisya, at karapatang pantao. Sapagkat ang tunay na kahulugan ng pagiging matatag ay hindi lamang ang kakayahang mabuhay sa gitna ng hirap, kundi ang lakas ng loob na ipaglaban ang nararapat, kahit pa ito’y may kaakibat na panganib. Sa pag-unawa sa dalawang mukha ng simbolong ito, mas nagiging malinaw na ang resiliency ng Pilipino ay hindi dapat ihiwalay sa patuloy na panawagan para sa pagkilala, paggalang, at katarungan sa bawat buhay na patuloy na lumalaban.
