UPV CAS Community Outreach Program-BIDANI

𝙐𝙋𝙑 𝘾𝘼𝙎 𝘾𝙊𝙋-𝘽𝙄𝘿𝘼𝙉𝙄 𝙬𝙚𝙡𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙨 𝙒𝙑𝙎𝙐 𝘾𝙊𝘾 𝙨𝙩𝙪𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩-𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙣𝙨

The University of the Philippines Visayas CAS COP-BIDANI continues to strengthen its work in research, capacity building, and community-centered development initiatives through its collaboration with West Visayas State University College of Communication. Building on this partnership, UPV CAS COP-BIDANI welcomes third-year Development Communication students for its eight-week midyear internship program. As the internship center, it aims to provide experiential learning opportunities for students to enhance their competencies in participatory action research, community engagement, and development communication practices.

As the collaboration grows, both institutions remain steadfast in their commitment to cultivating future DevCom practitioners and action researchers who are ready to bridge theory and practice, work with communities, and push forward people-centered approaches to development.

This collaboration goes beyond the event. Through a strong and ongoing partnership, COP-BIDANI and the WVSU Development Communication Division continue to empower future communicators—providing a vibrant hub for research, extension, and internship opportunities for WVSU DevCom students.

ATM | COP-BIDANI at San Dionisio

BIDANI is currently at the Municipality of San Dionisio for the orientation of the program to barangay officials.

This activity serves as a preparation and prelude to the upcoming Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signing between BIDANI and the Municipality of San Dionisio, formalizing the partnership in BIDANIzing the selected barangays.
