ANNOUNCEMENT | NO SATURDAY INSTRUCTION

In view of the university serving as billeting area for the National Culture and Arts Festival (NCAF), there will be NO Regular Saturday Instruction for the ISAT-U Army ROTC Unit.

This time is dedicated to supporting and giving way to this significant institutional event that promotes cultural awareness, creativity, and unity. Cadets are encouraged to participate and uphold discipline and cooperation as part of the university community.

Regular activities will resume as scheduled.

CHECK THIS OUT! The ISAT-U Army ROTC Unit proudly joined the Araw ng Kagitingan Parade last 09 April 2026, in commemoration of the valor, bravery, and sacrifice of our Filipino heroes.

The parade commenced from Skatepark Esplanade and proceeded to the University of the Philippines Campus, showcasing unity, discipline, and patriotism among participating cadets, cadet officers, reservist, veterans and other organizations.

During the program, COL EDRALIN POBLETE, ART (GSC) PA, Group Commander, 6RCDG, delivered an inspiring message to cadets, officers, and veterans, emphasizing the importance of remembering the sacrifices of our forefathers. He encouraged everyone to continue the legacy of courage, service, and love for country that paved the way for the freedom we enjoy today.

The activity served as a meaningful reminder of the heroism of our ancestors and strengthened the commitment of the ROTC Unit to uphold honor, duty, and patriotism in service to the nation.

📢 ANNOUNCEMENT | NO SATURDAY INSTRUCTION

In observance of Black Saturday, there will be NO Regular Saturday Instruction on 04 April 2026.

This time is set aside for reflection, solemn remembrance, and spiritual observance. Cadets are encouraged to take this opportunity to spend meaningful time with their families and reflect on the significance of the occasion.

Regular activities will resume as scheduled.

The ISAT-U Army ROTC Unit, Iloilo City Campus, successfully conducted its 12th Regular Saturday Instruction last 28 March 2026, under the leadership of MAJ MICHAEL B MALUNES (INF) PA, Unit Commandant.

The activity began with the singing of the Philippine National Anthem. Cadets from Alpha, Bravo, and Excess Companies participated in Drills and Ceremonies, while other cadets engaged in Military Stakes training in preparation for the upcoming Regional Annual Administrative Tactical Inspection (RAATI).

The activity highlighted the unit’s continued commitment to discipline, teamwork, and excellence in preparation for the forthcoming inspection.

The ISAT-U Army ROTC Unit, Iloilo City Campus, successfully conducted its 11th Regular Saturday Instruction last 21 March 2026, under the leadership of MAJ MICHAEL B MALUNES (INF) PA, Unit Commandant.

The activity began with the singing of the Philippine National Anthem. Then cadets from Alpha and Bravo Companies proceeded to Drills and Ceremonies in preparation for the upcoming Presentation of Sponsors (POS), while the Excess Company took their Midterm Examination.

At 1000H, cadets conducted Basic Marching and Manual of Arms, while others participated in Military Stakes training in preparation for RAATI.

CHECK THIS OUT! The ISAT-U Army ROTC Unit, Iloilo City Campus, successfully conducted its 10th Week of Regular Instruction last 14 March 2026, under the leadership of MAJ MICHAEL B MALUNES (INF) PA, Unit Commandant.

The day began with the singing of the Philippine National Anthem, followed by the introduction of sponsors for the upcoming Presentation of Sponsors (POS), marking an important highlight in preparation for the anticipated event.

After the ceremony, the cadets proceeded with Drills and Ceremonies, with the sponsors partnered with their corresponding officers for practice, further strengthening coordination, discipline, and synchronization in preparation for the upcoming POS.
Meanwhile, other companies participated in Military Stakes training, enhancing their practical skills and teamwork through various military exercises.
