This achievement brings pride to the 𝘒𝘢-𝘚𝘪𝘣𝘪𝘭𝘴 community and reflects the dedication and excellence we uphold as we continue engineering beyond Central.

A century-old mango tree leaned during the M6.9 Bogo earthquake. Typhoon Tino eventually toppled it down. Natural hazards brought this office down to its knees. Though this steel box was destroyed, it saved four lives. It was sad but grateful for all the learnings and thankful to all people who helped. Fall seven, stand eight.

As the clock turns and a new chapter begins, we pause to reflect on a year filled with lessons, triumphs, and growth that shaped our journey.

Now, as we move forward, we welcome 2026 with hope for a fresh start. Guided by the lessons of the past, we set our resolutions with purpose: to face the second semester with 𝙜𝙚𝙣𝙪𝙞𝙣𝙚 𝙙𝙧𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙣, to 𝙠𝙚𝙚𝙥 𝙥𝙪𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙙 despite every challenge, and to 𝙥𝙪𝙧𝙨𝙪𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙙𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙢 of finally having “𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗿.” before our name. 🤍🎓

May we begin this year with clearer goals, firmer discipline, and deeper passion as we bring engineering beyond Central. Here’s to learning, growing, and building our future, one step at a time.

My job as a practicing civil engineer does not stop at designing buildings or fixing problematic structures. I also fix broken toy cars, yielded shafts, and fractured wheel connections brought by my toddlerosaurus. Even so, my knowledge and skills in the art and science of engineering mechanics and structural theory are constantly being tested and applied.
