𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞 | 𝐅𝐏𝐎𝐏 𝐊𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐈𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐠𝐨 (𝐅𝐊𝐈) in partnership with DAKILA Iloilo in “Sa Lugar Lang!” — a youth dialogue on the state of life, livelihood, and lifestyle in Iloilo held at the Girl Scouts of the Philippines Iloilo Council Headquarters.

The activity gathered youth leaders, advocates, organizations, and community partners to engage in meaningful discussions on current social realities, youth participation, and issues affecting communities today. The dialogue served as a platform for the youth to express their insights, experiences, and aspirations toward building a more inclusive and empowered society.

The event was also joined by Sen. Risa Hontiveros, who continues to support initiatives that encourage youth engagement, leadership, and active participation in addressing societal concerns.

Through activities like this, FKI remains committed to amplifying youth voices and strengthening its advocacy for youth empowerment, leadership, Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE), and Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR).

𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 | 𝐅𝐏𝐎𝐏 𝐈𝐥𝐨𝐢𝐥𝐨 successfully underwent the Validation of Records conducted under the Global Fund through Pilipinas Shell Foundation Inc. (PSFI) and LoveYourself Inc.

The activity focused on reviewing and validating records, reports, and supporting documents to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and compliance with program standards and reporting requirements. It also serves as an important mechanism for monitoring program implementation and ensuring quality community-based HIV services for the community.

This validation process strengthens monitoring and evaluation systems, improves data management practices, and ensures proper documentation of HIV and Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) interventions and services.

FPOP Iloilo extends its heartfelt gratitude to PSFI, LoveYourself Inc., validators, staff, volunteers, and community partners for their continued support, and commitment to promoting accountable, inclusive, and quality healthcare services. Together, we continue to advance people-centered and community-driven HIV response initiatives for a healthier and empowered community. 💙

𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 | 𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗰 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗻 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗺𝘂𝗺 𝗜𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗣𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗦𝗲𝘅𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 (𝗠𝗜𝗦𝗣-𝗦𝗥𝗛)

𝗙𝗣𝗢𝗣 𝗜𝗹𝗼𝗶𝗹𝗼 served as one of the facilitators/resource persons during the Basic Training on Minimum Initial Service Package for Sexual and Reproductive Health (MISP-SRH) spearheaded by the Department of Health – Western Visayas Center for Health Development (DOH WV CHD), held on May 13, 2026 at the J7 Hotel Boardroom.

The activity gathered Local Government Units (LGUs) across the region, together with facilitators and partner agencies, to strengthen coordination, align facilitation strategies, and ensure the effective implementation of the training focused on delivering essential, life-saving, and rights-based s*xual and reproductive health services, especially during emergencies and humanitarian settings.

Through active participation and collaboration, FPOP Iloilo continues to support initiatives that promote accessible, inclusive, and quality s*xual and reproductive health services for communities.

𝗛𝗔𝗣𝗣𝗘𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗡𝗢𝗪 | 𝑳𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒀𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒔𝒆𝒍𝒇 𝑰𝒏𝒄., together with 𝑷𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒑𝒊𝒏𝒂𝒔 𝑺𝒉𝒆𝒍𝒍 𝑭𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒅𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝑰𝒏𝒄. (PSFI) conducts a Site Visit and Data Validation at FPOP Iloilo as part of strengthening the monitoring program implementation, and ensuring quality community-based HIV services for the community.

This activity highlights the continued commitment of both organizations in promoting accessible and inclusive health services, while reinforcing efforts in HIV awareness, prevention, and advocacy.

The 𝗙𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝘆 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗢𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 (𝗙𝗣𝗢𝗣) 𝗜𝗹𝗼𝗶𝗹𝗼 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗿 Community Based Volunteers (CBVs) Togetherness 2026, held last May 10, 2026 at Sheridan Boutique Resort, became a meaningful gathering of passionate volunteers united under the theme, “Coming Together is a Beginning, Keeping Together is a Progress, Working Together is a Success.”

The activity served as a platform to strengthen camaraderie, reaffirm commitment to service, and empower both new and existing CBVs through orientation sessions, learning discussions, and collaborative activities. The event highlighted the importance of teamwork, volunteerism, and shared advocacy in promoting Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) and community engagement.

The success of the activity was made possible through the guidance and support of Ma’am Mona Liza S. Diones, Chapter Program Manager of FPOP Iloilo, together with the hardworking FPOP Iloilo staff and the dedication and active participation of the CBV family.
