To Save and to Serve In 2012, the provincial government of Isabela created its own rescue unit called D.A.R.T. Rescue 831.
Also known a Disaster Action Rescue Team (DART) Rescue 831 which is stationed at the Provinicial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (PDRRMC) operations center located at the Provincial Capitol Compound in City of Ilagan, Isabela. DART Rescue 831 is equipped with new advance support ambulance, rescue equipment for victims of vehicular accidents and other untoward eventualities and rubbe
r boats that will be used in flooded areas when there are calamities. Aside from the rescue equipment, the PDRRMC also set up its own automatic weather season for tracking the entry of typhoons, measure wind velocity, rain gauge and other important data related to calamities.

The new rescue equipment and gadgets were inaugurated last October 2012 at the PDRRMC operations center where these are housed. Aside from the gadgets and rescue equipment, a monitoring board is also installed within the premises of the operation center as important data are recorded for closely monitoring of evacuees, relief goods available, rescue units dispatched and other data needed in the monitoring before, during and after calamities.
