Tomorrow marks the beginning of the School Year 2026–2027—a new chapter filled with fresh starts, new opportunities, and endless possibilities as we take another step closer to the dreams we once dared to imagine.

𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗗: Kate Ashly B. Neri, a Grade 10 Completer and With Honors Awardee of Monlaque National High School, shared encouragement to her fellow completers as she delivered her Words of Greetings during the school's 4th Moving-Up and Recognition Ceremony.

𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗗: Rojelyn M. Evangelio, a Grade 10 Completer and With Honors Awardee of Monlaque National High School, reflected on her journey as a Junior High School student as she shared her Words of Gratitude during the school's 4th Moving-Up and Recognition Ceremony.

𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦: Carrying the flag of Monlaque National High School, seven students take on the challenge of the 35th Boy Scouts of the Philippines (BSP) – Aklan Council Invitational Jamboree held at Barangay Naile, Ibajay, Aklan from February 9 to 13.

The scouts engage in various activities designed to develop their holistic skills. These include Environmental Care activities such as hiking, nature lore, and orienteering; Core Life Skills like ropework, rappelling, and zipline; Physical Fitness through nine team-building challenge stations; Community Service through a clean-up drive; and Outdoor Challenges featuring Safety and Challenge Valley.

The participation of Monlaque NHS scouters was made possible through the cooperation of the Monlaque Barangay Council, headed by Mr. Junrey Italia, and Mr. Walter S. Sorillo, the Monlaque NHS Teacher-in-Charge.

𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗹𝗮𝗾𝘂𝗲 𝗡𝗛𝗦 𝗲𝗻𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘀 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝗥𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

To strengthen students’ awareness of Learner Rights and Protection (LRP), Monlaque National High School conducted a school-based mass reorientation in line with DepEd Order No. 40, s. 2012 on January 28, 2026.

Mrs. Shantii T. Prado, School Guidance Designate, served as the main discussant, providing an in-depth discussion on learner rights and protection mechanisms. Meanwhile, Sir Rexies G. Elep, Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) Adviser, delivered a brief discussion about the National DepEd Mandates on rules and policy in school.

The activity aimed to promote a safe, respectful, and supportive learning environment, ensuring that every learner’s rights and well-being are safeguarded.

𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦: Faith and devotion to the Senior Santo Niño, Monlaque National High School’s Tribu Ilaya competed against various high schools and a university in Ibajay during the Ibajay Ati-Ati Sinadsad sa Kalye, an inter-school street dancing competition held across the streets of Gavino C. Solidum Park, Poblacion, Ibajay, on January 23, 2026.
