Isang obra o sining nga ba ang aking nakita,
na mahahalintulad ko sa pagdating ng buwan ng Mayo.

Na tila ba'y isang dasal na ibinubulong sa aking tenga
sa pagitan ng ganda ng bulaklak na kalachuchi,
o ilaw na dala ng aninipot sa gabi,
o himala nainukit sa paanan ng santo.

Pero bahala na...

Sapagkat sa bawat iyong pagngiti
ako'y nananabik na mapailalim
sa sumpa na nais kong hilingin mula sa iyo.

At sa tuwing dumadaan ang bawat gabi ng Mayo,
walang sandaling hindi ka sumagi sa aking isipan.
Kasabay nito ang dahan-dahang paglaglag
ng mga talulot ng kalachuchi,
ang pagsayaw ng mga aninipot
sa lamig ng hangin na dala ng buwan ng Mayo,
at ang mga dalangin na tila ba'y ipanagkakaloob sa akin ng langit.

Ngunit sa itinagal ng aking pagtitig sa iyong ganda,
aking napagtanto
na sa bawat banayad na paghahambing,
ay walang kayang tumapat sa angking ganda na taglay mo.

Sapagkat ang lahat ng iyon ay tila ba'y
sinasalamin lamang lahat ng aking ipininta tungkol sa iyo,
upang ako'y tuluyang mabighani
sa kung sino ka talaga.

At sa gitna ng katahimikan ng Mayo,
na ang inaakala kong tila obra,
tila dasal,
o tila himala—

ay hindi sya mismong magandang talulot ng kalachuchi,
hindi rin ang mismong magandang liwanag ng aninipot sa dilim,
at lalong hindi ang mga himala na inukit sa paanan ng santo.

Sapagkat ang iyong ganda
ay iyong sariling milagro.

𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 || College of Communication and Information Technology (CCIT) students battled in various competitions at the recently concluded Luminance 2026: Uniting Minds, Showcasing Talents, Creating Memories held at the CCIT grounds, April 20.

The event includes an individual competitions such as AI- Lore Master, Cosplay, Rubik's Cube, Fast Typing, Singtonado, and Mx. Luminance.

Moreover, it also features group competitions like Year-Level Showdown, Call of Duty, and Mobile Legends Tournament.

Most Innovative Outfit and Active Participant were also included as a special awards.

𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 || Parodying the famous Filipino band CUP OF JOE, College of Communication and Information Technology (CCIT) Band "CUP OF JAO" brought music entertainment at their live band performance, held at the CCIT grounds, April 20.

With the guidance of Mr. Hansel Ada, the band members, Christian Vengua, Nathaniel Francisa, Kent Sevilla Cacho, Niño Jer Collado, and Nathaniel Harvey Agaton performed live for the CCITzens.

They performed backyard live version of 'Nangangamba', originally by Zack Tabudlo, 'Konsensya', 'Come Inside of my Heart', 'Mundo', and 'Kabisado' by IV of Spades, and 'Tensionado' by Soapdish.

Moreover, Mr. Christian P. Dial and Ms. Rowela Gongora, CCIT Instructors, served as the judges of the competition.

𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 || As the first day of President Ramon Magsaysay State University (PRMSU)'s 116th Founding Anniversary concluded, take a look with John Rey Dar during the cosplay competition held at the College of Communication and Information Technology (CCIT) grounds, April 20.

The competition is one of the highlights of CCIT's Luminance 2026.

𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞 || Third-year Computer Science (CS) students, Angelica Aquino, Daisy Ann Magno, Rhonielyn Tolentino, and Dave Anthony Ulanday, emerged as Champion of the Year Level Showdown of LUMINANCE 2026, held at the College of Communication and Information Technology (CCIT) Building, April 20.

The competition is part of "LUMINANCE: Uniting Minds, Showcasing Talents, Creating Memories 2026", CCIT's celebration of 116th Founding and 8th Charter Anniversary of President Ramon Magsaysay State University (PRMSU).

The showdown was composed of three challenges: the Quiz Bee, the Coding or Problem-Solving Challenge, and the Team Challenge/Relay.

The Quiz Bee used questions involving topics related to programming, information technology, computer science, and general knowledge, while the Coding or Problem-Solving Challenge required the challengers to solve a programming or logic-based problem within a given time limit.

Furthermore, the Team Challenge/Relay required the participating teams to complete tasks in sequence within the time limit, and the fastest team received the highest score.

𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 II College of Communication and Information Technology students showcased their talents in Fast Typing competition held at the CCIT building 2nd floor Laboratory 3, April 20.

Fifty participants competed on the event to test their abilities in typing which consists mostly of Information Technology (InfoTech) students.

The competition is a part of the CCIT's college-based program with a theme LUMINANCE: Uniting Minds, Showcasing Talents, Creating Memories which occurs at the first day of President Ramon Magsaysay State University (PRMSU) 116th Founding and 8th Charter Anniversary.
