🌟 “Step Up, Dream Big: Your Journey Starts at GNHS!” 🌟

Grade 6 learners from Gumaca East and West Central School were inspired to take their next big step as Gumaca National High School opened doors to its diverse Special Programs. Through a collaborative effort of the Coordinators from the Special Science Program, Special Program in the Arts, Special Program in Sports, and Special Program in Journalism, students were introduced to exciting opportunities that match their talents and passions.

The orientation gave them a glimpse of what each program offers, along with clear guidance on requirements and the admission process—empowering them to confidently pursue their chosen path in Junior High School for the next school year.

We extend our sincere thanks to the Program Coordinators—Sir Nico O. Buenaventura (SSP), Mam Annette B. Diamante (SPA), Mam Elvira Dona G. Silang (SPJ), and Mam Imelda Q. Labso (SPS)—as well as the teachers and students from the various programs, for generously giving their time, effort, and support to make this orientation a truly inspiring experience for our future GNHS students.

🌿 Celebrating Youth Excellence in Wildlife Conservation! 🌿

We proudly congratulate Mary Jamer R. Calibot, G10-SSP together with her Coach Ma'am Sarah A. Amparo, for representing our school and municipality in the World Wildlife Day Celebration initiated by Provincial Government Environment and Natural Resources Office – Quezon (PGENRO Quezon).

Out of 25 participants from different municipalities, Mary Jamer proudly secured 8th place, showcasing knowledge and passion for environmental conservation and biodiversity. The event, held last March 13 at the Quezon Provincial Capitol, carried the theme “Medicinal and Aromatic Plants: Conserving Health Heritage and Livelihood.”

Your dedication and commitment to wildlife and environmental awareness make our school proud. Congratulations, Jamer! 🌱🍀♻️👏

GNHS x LPIHS Robotics Convergence

The Gumaca National High School Science Department, in collaboration with Luis Palad Integrated High School, successfully conducted a Training Workshop on Robotics Systems and Emerging Technologies through the initiative of Dr. Gener C. Delos Reyes, Principal IV.

Selected Special Science Program (SSP) students from Grades 8, 9, and 10 actively participated in the workshop and gained valuable knowledge and hands-on experience from the different sessions. Students learned a lot about basic programming using Python, Makeblock, MIT, and Animal 4D+, which introduced them to exciting applications of robotics and emerging technologies.

We extend our sincere gratitude to all facilitators, organizers, and partners who made this learning experience possible. We look forward to more meaningful collaborations in the future that will continue to inspire and empower our students in science and technology. 🚀🤖
