MULTIPLICATION of SIGNED NUMBERS
To multiply 2 numbers, multiply their absolute values.
The product of 2 numbers with same signs is positive.
The product of 2 numbers with different signs is negative.
Examples:
3(7)=21 ==>> (+)(+)=+
(-6)(-9)=54 ==>> (-)(-)=+

(-8)(9)= -72 ==>> (-)(+)=(-)
12(-8)= -96 ==>> (+)(-)=(-)

DIVISION OF SIGNED NUMBERS
To divide 2 numbers, divide their absolute values.
Quotient = Dividend / divisor
The quotient of 2 numbers with same signs is positive.
The quotient of 2 numbers with different signs is negative.
Examples:
15/3=5 ==>> (+)/(+)=+
-48/(-6)=8 ==>> (-)/(-)=+

-120/6=20 ==>> (-)/(+)=(-)
81/(-9)=-9 ==>> (+)/(-)=(-)
