Paggunita sa Kagitingan: Araw ng Kagitingan 2026
ENHS - Social Studies Department. Ang Araw ng Kagitingan, na ginugunita tuwing ika-9 ng Abril, ay nagbibigay-pugay sa tapang at sakripisyo ng mga Pilipinong sundalo na lumaban noong Ikalawang Digmaang Pandaigdig, lalo na sa Labanan sa Bataan. Sa kabila ng matinding hirap at kakulangan, ipinakita nila ang walang kapantay na lakas ng loob, pagtitiyaga, at pagmamahal sa bayan. Ang kanilang kabayanihan ay patunay ng tunay na diwa ng pagiging makabayan.
Sa paggunita ng Araw ng Kagitingan 2026, naaalala natin na ang kagitingan ay hindi lamang bahagi ng kasaysayan. Ito ay patuloy na isinasabuhay sa ating mga araw-araw na gawain, sa pagiging tapat, responsable, at handang maglingkod para sa kapwa at bansa. Bagamaβt nagbago na ang panahon, nananatiling mahalaga ang aral ng pagkakaisa at sakripisyo.
Ang pagdiriwang na ito ay hindi lamang pag-alala sa nakaraan kundi paanyaya rin sa kasalukuyan at susunod na henerasyon na pahalagahan at ipagpatuloy ang diwa ng kagitingan. Sa pag-alala sa ating mga bayani, pinananatili nating buhay ang kanilang pamana at pinatatatag ang ating pagkakakilanlang Pilipino.

Kaisa ng sambayanan ang Kagawaran ng Edukasyon sa paggunita ng ika-84 Araw ng Kagitingan ngayong Abril 9. π΅π
Kasabay nito, ipinagdiriwang din ng bansa ang Philippine Veterans Week. Hangad natin na magsilbing inspirasyon sa bawat isa ang kagitingan at kabayanihan ng ating mga Pilipinong beterano na nagbahagi ng kanilang serbisyo para sa kasarinlan ng ating bansa.

π PROJECT HANDOG 2026 | PART 3: HANDOG BIYAYA
To conclude Project HANDOG, the children and families of Brgy. Buenavista, Escalante City received gifts, food, and other donations through Handog Biyaya. This moment truly reflected the spirit of generosity and compassion as blessings were shared with the community.
As we celebrate our last hurrah this School Year 2025β2026, we extend our deepest gratitude to our generous sponsors: LGU Escalante, Brgy. Buenavista Officials, ENHS AP Teachers, Doc Mae Joy Tan (EPS in AP), Ezra Ortega, and all ENHS students who donated and supported this outreach program.

π PROJECT HANDOG 2026 | PART 2: HANDOG SAYA
Laughter, excitement, and joyful moments filled the day during Handog Saya, where the children of Brgy. Buenavista, Escalante City participated in fun games and activities.
Through these games, the outreach program created a lively and memorable experience for the kids, reminding everyone that happiness can be shared through simple moments of play and togetherness.

π PROJECT HANDOG 2026 | PART 1: HANDOG BASA & HANDOG MATEMATIKA
To our last hurrah this School Year 2025β2026, the Social Studies Department of ENHS kicked off Project HANDOG with meaningful learning activities through Handog Basa and Handog Matematika for the children of Brgy. Buenavista, Escalante City.
Through reading and numeracy activities, the students were given the opportunity to learn while enjoying a fun and engaging educational experience. This initiative aims to inspire young minds and encourage the love for learning.
