𝐖𝐇𝐄𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐒, the City of Digos, Province of Davao del Sur celebrates the APOBAY Festival every first Friday of May, which falls on 01 May 2026, a regular holiday (Labor Day);

𝐖𝐇𝐄𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐒, to enable the people of the City of Digos to fully participate in the occasion, the Office of the Mayor requested that 08 May 2026, Friday, be declared as a special (non-working) day in lieu of 01 May 2026;

𝐖𝐇𝐄𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐒, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Digos be given full opportunity to participate in the occasion and enjoy the celebration;
