The excitement of the 1st DAVSURANON Sports Fest 2026 continued on its second day as badminton enthusiasts from various communities gathered for the highly anticipated 2nd DAVSURANON Badminton Tournament 2026. Showcasing exceptional skill, sportsmanship, and competitive spirit, players battled through intense matches that highlighted the growing grassroots badminton movement in Davao del Sur and neighboring areas. The tournament served not only as a platform for athletic excellence but also as a venue for fostering camaraderie, healthy lifestyles, and community engagement through sport. With every rally, smash, and hard-fought point, participants embodied the festival’s theme, “Paghiusa pinaagi sa Dula, Kultura, ug Kadasig,” strengthening bonds and celebrating the unifying power of sports. The successful conduct of the tournament further solidified DAVSURANON Sports Fest as a premier gathering that promotes talent development, wellness, and sports culture among athletes and enthusiasts alike.

The 1st DAVSURANON Sports Fest 2026 officially commenced on May 14, 2026 with an energetic and colorful opening through the DAVSURANON Dance Fiesta, gathering the vibrant participation of the Davao del Sur State College community. Featuring more than 50 competing entries from PATH Fit students and drawing an estimated crowd of over 1,500 attendees, the event transformed the venue into a celebration of rhythm, creativity, and collective spirit. More than a competition, the Dance Fiesta became a powerful showcase of student talent, physical expression, teamwork, and cultural appreciation, reflecting the essence of holistic education and active campus life. The remarkable turnout and overwhelming enthusiasm from participants, faculty, organizers, and supporters marked a strong and memorable beginning of this historic three-day celebration anchored on the theme, “Paghiusa pinaagi sa Dula, Kultura, ug Kadasig”, uniting the community through sports, culture, and passion.
