The Master Guide Induction, held on August 19, 2026, brought together new Master Guides in Training alongside those completing the Master Guide Advanced Induction, in an event honoring their mission and responsibilities.

The candle-lighting ceremony formally called the names of the Master Guides in Training, symbolizing their first steps on the path to leadership. Their fellow Master Guides, further along that same path, continue to grow in knowledge and experience.

The cameras rolled and the learning began! Our S**C Media volunteers kicked off two days of hands-on filmmaking training, diving into the craft of storytelling and the creative process behind every frame.

We're grateful to award-winning filmmaker David Agustin for leading the workshop and generously sharing his experience and international expertise with our young media volunteers.

Adding to the day's inspiration, the SePUM Communication team also joined in with a lecture on One Voice 27, our church's communication initiative — reminding our volunteers that the stories we tell can carry purpose far beyond the frame.

The learning has started. The stories they'll tell are still ahead.

95 bags of blood. Countless lives touched. 🩸 Thank you to everyone who rolled up their sleeves for this year's Bloodletting Activity — proof that service can start with something as simple as giving a part of yourself.

"Behold, Now Is the Day of Salvation"

There is no "someday" in God's calendar. Only today.

We say, "I'll change eventually," "I'll pray later," "I still have time." But time is a promise none of us hold.

The Lord hates a proud look, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that plots evil, feet quick to do wrong, a false witness, and one who sows discord. These aren't distant sins — they're what quietly grows in any heart that stops surrendering to God.

That's the danger of waiting. Sin doesn't announce itself. It settles in, disguised as "later."

But mercy is in this: now is still open. Not after the crisis. Not after rock bottom. Now — while you're still able to choose.

Yesterday's failures don't define tomorrow. If pride, anger, dishonesty, or division linger in your heart, bring them to God today. Grace is renewed every morning — but it must be received, not postponed.

Today is the day. Not because tomorrow is guaranteed worse — but because today is guaranteed yours.

"What we cannot do alone, God can make possible when we trust Him and surrender it to Him" -Pr. IIdle Brian Faigmani

Sometimes, life brings us to moments when we feel like we have reached our limits—when our strength is not enough, our plans fail, and our problems seem impossible to overcome.

Jesus Himself experienced what looked like defeat, especially at the cross, yet God turned it into the greatest victory. In the same way, our struggles, failures, and unanswered prayers may seem impossible today, but God can use them for a greater purpose. When our strength ends, God’s power begins. So do your best, surrender what you cannot control, and trust Him. What is impossible in our hands becomes possible when we place it in God’s hands.

"Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up." - Galatians 6:9

If you've grown weary or defeated, make a commitment to never give up. There are blessings for you on the other side of your struggle.

God, help me to never get tired of doing good things in Your name. As I grow closer to You, give me the endurance to serve and love others well—no matter how I'm feeling. I want my life to bring those around me closer to You. Thank You for never giving up on me! Amen.

Happy Sabbath!
