It is better to stop an illness from occurring than it is to treat it after it has happened.

With the intensified campaign for Oplan Kulob, learners and teachers at Rizal Central Elementary School took 15-20 minutes out of their day to clean up their surroundings, targeting potential mosquito breeding sites that could harbor the dengue virus.

Mrs. Jovelyn Aleria School Clinic in-charge, along with Mrs. Hilda Fabroa, the Officer-In-Charge, led the school's clean-up drive, ensuring that the environment was safe and conducive for learning.
Their efforts focused on eliminating areas where mosquitoes could breed, thereby reducing the risk of dengue within the school community.

Together let's fight Dengue 💪

Dengue fever is a serious viral infection spread by mosquitoes. It causes high fever, severe headaches, joint and muscle pain, and can be life-threatening if untreated. Prevent mosquito bites by using repellents, wearing long sleeves, and eliminating standing water where mosquitoes breed.

As Rizal Central Elementary School intensifies the Oplan Kulob initiative every day at 3 o'clock in the afternoon, students at home are also supporting this advocacy. The goal of this effort is to protect children from the deadly dengue disease.

Stay alert and protect yourself and your community from dengue.

Rizal Central Elementary School is deeply privileged to be part of the Regional Brigada Eskwela Kick-off held on July 22, 2024.

We are extremely grateful for the opportunity to be chosen as the host school, alongside the Schools Division of Digos City.

Learners, teachers, Barangay and City Government Officials, stakeholders, and other government agencies have gathered to achieve this year’s theme: Bayanihan para sa Matatag na Paaralan.

We are thankful for the presence of our Regional Director Allan G. Farnazo and his colleagues. We hope you have enjoyed your stay in the cozy weather of Barangay Kapatagan.

Lastly, we thank our Almighty Father for blessing us with the best weather on this day and for keeping us inspired throughout the preparation.
