In the few months I’ve been here, I’ve already met many young professionals in their mid-20s to early 30s who have bought their own homes using their earnings and savings.
One of my colleagues is even selling their home 🏠 to buy another in a better location.
Ok talaga ang Australia lalo na kapag masipag ka. 😉

Ang sahuran ng mga g**o sa New Zealand ay fortnightly (every two weeks, mga mare).
May mga g**o especially yung mga nasa top scale na at may leadership roles pa ay mga 3k ang net nila.
Bale mga 1500 ang lingguhan or 6500 ang buwanan. NET PAY na yan. Sa peso bale x P35 ngayon, so mga P227,500 per month. Kung walang mga utang, wala ng bills na babayaran, at laging mag fasting nlng, ay tiba-tiba yan.
Pero huwag ka, di madali ang kanilang pinagdadaanan. 😁

When we moved to Auckland after living on a farm with free accommodation, the high cost of rent made us start thinking about buying our own home.
This was in 2018.
Mga 20k lng na save namin sa 4 years na work sa Taupo. Andaming gastos kasi sa pag sponsor ng mga visitors at pag establish ng family sa NZ.
But in 2020, naka receive ng malaking back pay from my teaching years, at syempre sa disiplina din na wag gumastos ng malaki. At dahil sa mura ang bahay noong pandemic, may sapat na ipon na for deposit without using our Kiwisaver.
Walang inheritance.
Wala ring naipon sa Pinas.
Puro kayod at disiplina lng sa New Zealand.
At ang own house ay naisakatuparan.
Ngayon, Im letting go at pinapaupahan nlng.
But who knows, baka one day ay babalik din ako jan.
