Tumulong ang MAFAR Datu Piang sa pamamahagi ng fortified rice sa ilalim ng SECURE Program sa dalawang barangay ng Datu Piang, Maguindanao del Sur—Brgy. Dado at Brgy. Kalipapa.

Kasama namin sa activity ang aming partners na WFP, MSSD, at MDRRMO. Nandiyan din ang suporta ng BLGU at kanilang BPAT para masigurong maayos at mahinahon ang buong distribution.

Salamat sa lahat ng katuwang sa serbisyong naglalayong palakasin ang food security at nutrisyon ng ating komunidad. 💙🌾

Conducted field monitoring at Brgy. Dado and Brgy. Kalipapa, Datu Piang, Maguindanao del Sur to assess the garden farms of our local farmers under the Secure Convergence Program.

This activity was made possible through the strong collaboration of our BLGUs from different barangays, together with our work immersion partners from GLACI and NDDI. Through continuous coordination and on-the-ground support, we ensure that our farmers receive the guidance and assistance they need to sustain and improve their livelihoods.

FIELD MONITORING ACTIVITY

Field monitoring was conducted at Reina Regente, Datu Piang, Maguindanao del Sur to assess the current condition of corn and watermelon crops in the area.

This activity aims to closely monitor the growth and status of the crops, identify existing concerns, and provide appropriate technical support to our farmers to help improve productivity and ensure a successful harvest.

We remain committed to supporting our local farmers through regular field visits, monitoring, and continuous assistance toward sustainable agricultural development. 🌱🚜

Fish monitoring was conducted at Barangay Masigay, Datu Piang, Maguindanao del Sur to observe the newly released I-Excel tilapia fingerlings, a fast-growing variety expected to develop quicker than the usual tilapia.

This activity aims to show the initial results of tilapia culture under limited feeding conditions, brought about by the unavailability of feeds and financial constraints. Despite these challenges, monitoring helps assess growth performance, survival, and adaptability of the I-Excel tilapia in local conditions.

Through continuous technical guidance and monitoring, we remain committed to supporting our fisherfolk and promoting sustainable and cost-efficient aquaculture practices in the community.

The MAFAR–Datu Piang team successfully conducted field monitoring and updating of the garden farms of our farmers under the Secure Convergence Program at Barangay Kalipapa, Datu Piang, Maguindanao del Sur.

This activity was made possible through the strong support and collaboration of the Barangay Office, with special thanks to Kagawad 𝐀𝐛𝐝𝐮𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐡 𝐊. 𝐔𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐚𝐧 for his active participation and commitment to our farmers.

Through continuous monitoring and coordination, we ensure that our farmers receive proper guidance and support toward sustainable food production and livelihood development.

📍 GEOTAGGING AND RSBSA ACTIVITY | BARANGAY BALANAKAN

MAFAR Datu Piang conducted geotagging and RSBSA registration in Barangay Balanakan in coordination with the Barangay Local Government Unit (BLGU) to measure and document the areas of rice and corn farms, as well as fisheries.

This activity aims to ensure accurate farmer data, support effective planning, and facilitate the proper delivery of agricultural and fisheries programs and services. Through strong collaboration with the BLGU, MAFAR Datu Piang continues to strengthen data-driven initiatives for the benefit of local farmers and fisherfolk.

MAFAR – SECURE Convergence Program Field Monitoring

The MAFAR Maguindanao Provincial Office, together with the Convergence Program staff and partners from the World Food Programme (WFP), conducted field monitoring of our gardening farms located in Brgy. Dado and Brgy. Kalipapa under the SECURE Convergence Program.

The monitoring visit aims to assess the progress of the gardening initiatives, ensure the proper implementation of program interventions, and provide technical support to our farmer-beneficiaries. Through this joint activity, we continue to strengthen community resilience, enhance food security, and promote sustainable agricultural practices in the province.

MAFAR, in partnership with WFP, remains committed to supporting our local farmers and advancing agricultural development in Maguindanao.

November 27, 2025, the MAFAR Datu Piang Municipal Office actively participated and provided support during the distribution of fortified rice for the community partners of Barangay Dado and Barangay Kalipapa.

This initiative is part of the SECURE Convergence Program of the World Food Programme (WFP) in collaboration with the Ministry of Social Services and Development (MSSD)—a continuing effort to promote food security and improve the well-being of vulnerable households in our municipality.

MAFAR Datu Piang extends its heartfelt appreciation to WFP and MSSD for their continued partnership. The Municipal Office remains committed to supporting programs that bring meaningful and sustainable assistance to our constituents.

The MAFAR Datu Piang team conducted a field assessment today to check the current status and condition of our rice farmers in Brgy. Kalipapa, Datu Piang, Maguindanao Del Sur.

Through this activity, we aim to ensure that our farmers receive the proper support and interventions they need for a productive and sustainable harvest season.

MAFAR remains committed to uplifting the agricultural sector and empowering every farmer in our community.

Today, we honor 89 years of rich history, resilience, and continuous progress of our beloved municipality. Through the strength, unity, and dedication of its people, Datu Piang has overcome challenges and steadily moved toward sustainable development and a brighter future for the next generations.
