The Daraga Community College (DComC) has reached a new academic milestone after securing the 𝐂𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 (𝐂𝐎𝐏𝐂) from the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) for its 𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥-𝐕𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐦𝐚𝐣𝐨𝐫𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐅𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 (𝐅𝐒𝐌) 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐆𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬, 𝐅𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧 (𝐆𝐅𝐃).

1. Students from households included in the most updated Listahanan of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) or any other recognized beneficiary-targeting system, enrolled in SUCs, LUCs, or Private HEls including PNSL, ranked according to household per capita income.

2. Students from other poor households including students in the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps), based on the list provided by the DSWD, ranked according to household per capita income for all SUCs, LUCs, and Private HEIs, including PNSL.

3. If there are remaining slots, other low-income students in Private HEls located in cities or municipalities without SUCs or LUCs (PNSL), who are not included in the 1st and 2nd prioritization categories.

• All students are expected to attend the orientation at the DComC Multi-Purpose Hall on their assigned schedule.
• Incoming First Year students are encouraged to invite their parents or guardians to attend the orientation with them.
• All attendees are expected to wear the school uniform, or in its absence, a white shirt or polo shirt.

Daraga Community College (DComC) ended its three-day 22nd Founding Anniversary celebration on April 25, 2025, with a day of community-focused activities.

Beginning at 6:00 a.m., the event started with a tree-planting activity organized by Una Scientia Advocati (USAD) in Salvacion, Daraga, Albay, participated in by barangay officials, DComC students, and USAD members.

This was followed by the second annual “Book Bash,” a collaborative effort with the Guild of English Advocates (GEA), at Salvacion Child Development Center. The program commenced with a prayer offered by James Lord L. Mondano, followed by the singing of the National Anthem and the DComC Pandayan March. Welcoming remarks were delivered by GEA President Denz Albert Jacob, and an opening message was presented by Bernadette D. Naag, GEA adviser.

Interactive games preceded the main activity. A storytelling session presented by James Lord L. Mondano, Dinice Rhey Herrera, and Sheryn Marie Bradecina, intended to promote reading among young attendees. Ma. Glezia G. Lopera, a teacher at Salvacion Child Development Center, addressed the gathering with a message of appreciation.

The event concluded with the distribution of certificates, reading materials, and school supplies to participating guests and preschool learners. Ronna Jane T. Listor, DComC librarian, delivered the closing remarks summarizing the day’s activities.

In the afternoon, film screenings were held as part of the program.

The final day marked the conclusion of DComC’s 22nd Founding Anniversary celebration.
