World Firefighters' Day is celebrated annually on May 4. Today, we honor the courage, bravery, and selfless service of our modern-day heroes on International Firefighters' Day.

Firefighters risk their lives to protect our communities, responding to emergencies with strength, dedication, and compassion. As we observe this day, let us also remember the importance of fire safety and preparedness—because being informed can help save lives.

Let’s take a moment to appreciate our firefighters and commit to being fire-ready in our homes, schools, and workplaces.

Today, we recognize the importance of creating safe and healthy workplaces for everyone. In line with the World Day for Safety and Health at Work, let us be reminded that every worker deserves protection, care, and a secure environment.

𝙒𝙤𝙧𝙡𝙙 𝘿𝙖𝙮 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙎𝙖𝙛𝙚𝙩𝙮 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙃𝙚𝙖𝙡𝙩𝙝 𝙖𝙩 𝙒𝙤𝙧𝙠 is observed annually on 𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹 𝟮𝟴 and aims to raise awareness about the importance of safety and health protection in the workplace. This day is organized by the 𝘐𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘭 𝘓𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘖𝘳𝘨𝘢𝘯𝘪𝘻𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 (𝘐𝘓𝘖) and highlights the prevention of workplace accidents and occupational diseases, as well as the creation of safe and healthy working conditions for all employees.

The date of April 28 was chosen in memory of those who died or were injured in the workplace, and in honor of the World Day of Remembrance for Workers who have died, also observed on this day.

A reminder that safety is not just a policy—it’s a responsibility we all share. Together, let’s build a culture where well-being always comes first.💙

World Creativity and Innovation Day is celebrated on 𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹 𝟮𝟭 and is dedicated to the importance of creativity, innovation and innovative thinking in achieving sustainable development. The day was established by the UN in 2017 to raise awareness of the importance of creativity and innovation for the economy, society and culture.

It also encourages everyone to think creatively in solving everyday and global challenges. From science and technology to art and community projects, innovation plays a big role in improving people’s lives, supporting progress, and inspiring positive change. More importantly, it highlights how creative solutions can help achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), such as reducing poverty, providing quality education and healthcare, and protecting our environment.

𝙃𝙤𝙬 𝙞𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙙𝙖𝙮 𝙘𝙚𝙡𝙚𝙗𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙙?
