We are proud to announce that 𝗔𝗹𝘆𝘀𝘀𝗮 𝗝𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗕𝗮𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗮 has been officially elected as the 𝗩𝗶𝗰𝗲-𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗿𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗔𝗹𝗯𝗮𝘆 in the 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗚𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗸𝗲𝗲𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗢𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 (𝗗𝗢𝗛) 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗩.

The Regional Youth Gatekeepers Organization is a youth-led initiative supported by the DOH that aims to promote mental health awareness, su***de prevention, and holistic well-being among young people across the Bicol Region. As Vice-Chairperson for Albay, Ms. Bayona will play a key leadership role in planning and implementing community-based programs, spearheading advocacy efforts, and empowering fellow youth leaders to become active mental health champions.

The election was commenced today, September 29, 2025 at La Edley Resort, Legazpi City, Albay.

𝟮 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗕𝗿𝗴𝘆. 𝗠𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗴 𝗝𝗼𝗶𝗻 𝗗𝗦𝗪𝗗 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱

Two youth representatives from Barangay Malabog, 𝗝𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗰𝗮 𝗙𝗮𝘆𝗲 𝗘. 𝗠𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝗹𝗹𝘆𝘀𝗮 𝗝𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗕𝗮𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗮, participated in the 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 organized by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office V held on September 8–10, 2025, in San Lorenzo Ruiz, Camarines Norte.

Moran and Bayona are active members of the Pag-asa Youth Association of the Philippines (PYAP) – Malabog and the Malabog Youth Performers. They were among the youth delegates from various provinces and municipalities across the Bicol Region who took part in the three-day summit.

The event aimed to empower youth leaders, enhance their skills in leadership and community development, and encourage active participation in local and regional initiatives. Activities during the summit included workshops, plenary sessions, and interactive group discussions focusing on youth concerns, social responsibility, and nation-building.

The DSWD Field Office V spearheaded the summit as part of its continuing efforts to engage the youth sector and promote their role in sustainable community development.

The participation of Moran and Bayona marks a significant milestone for Barangay Malabog, highlighting the youth sector’s growing involvement in regional policy dialogues and advocacy efforts.

𝐌𝐠𝐚 𝐡𝐚𝐤𝐛𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐮𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐚𝐠𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐚 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐚 𝐬𝐚 𝐛𝐚𝐠𝐲𝐨:

• Mag-monitor ng balita at weather updates. Makinig sa mga anunsyo mula sa radyo, telebesiyon at sa PAGASA at lokal na awtoridad hinggil sa lagay ng panahon.
• Maghanda ng emergency kit. Siguraduhin na may sapat na pagkain, inumin, gamot, at mga gamit para sa mga emergency na maaaring magtagal ng ilang araw.
• Dalhin at itagong mabuti ang mga mahahalagang dokumento. Dalhin at itago ang mga mahahalagang dokumento sa pamilya at bahay at siguraduhin na ito’y ligtas at hindi mababasa.
• Mag-secure ng inyong tahanan. Tiyaking ligtas ang inyong bahay sa pamamagitan ng pag-aayos ng mga bubong, pader, at iba pang bahagi ng inyong tahanan na maaaring tamaan ng malakas na hangin o ulan.
• ILikas ang mga alagang hayop. Siguraduhin na ang mga alagang hayop ay nasa mabuting kalagayan at ligtas na lugar. Dalhin ito kasama sa paglikas upang matiyak ang seguridad.
• Pagtukoy ng evacuation centers. Alamin ang pinakamalapit na evacuation center sa inyong lugar kung kinakailangan ninyong lumikas.
• Magkaroon ng plano sa pamilya. Siguraduhing alam ng bawat isa sa pamilya ang mga hakbang na gagawin at kung saan sila magtatagpo kung kinakailangan lumikas.
