The Entrepreneurial Development Training focusing on the Concepts of Costing and Pricing Strategies was successfully conducted on April 8, 2026, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 NN at Hiraya Hotel & Restaurant, Daet, Camarines Norte. The activity gathered participants from various sectors, especially persons with disabilities, who are part of livelihood and entrepreneurship initiatives. The training aimed to strengthen their understanding of basic costing, pricing strategies, and practical business concepts that they can apply in their daily livelihood activities.
The program was supported by the presence of Dr. Angeles M. Asay, Jr., Ph.D., Ms. Malyn Manalo-Asay, MBA, and Rex A. Bernardo, Ed.D., whose continued support and guidance have been instrumental to the success of the SUCCEED Program. The activity also recognized the ๐๐ฎ๐บ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ป๐ฒ๐ ๐ก๐ผ๐ฟ๐๐ฒ ๐ฆ๐๐ฎ๐๐ฒ ๐๐ผ๐น๐น๐ฒ๐ด๐ฒ โ ๐๐ผ๐น๐น๐ฒ๐ด๐ฒ ๐ผ๐ณ ๐๐๐๐ถ๐ป๐ฒ๐๐ ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐ฃ๐๐ฏ๐น๐ถ๐ฐ ๐๐ฑ๐บ๐ถ๐ป๐ถ๐๐๐ฟ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป (๐๐ก๐ฆ๐-๐๐๐ฃ๐) as a long-time partner of Scaling-Up Capacities of Community-Based Enterprises for the Economic Empowerment of Persons with Disability (S.U.C.C.E.E.D) Livelihood Program for PWDs, consistently providing support and taking initiatives that contribute to the programโs growth and sustainability. The resource speaker for the training was Ms. Melissa S. Carbonell, MBA, MMagrib, Associate Professor from CNSC-CBPA, who shared her expertise during two sessions. She discussed the basic concepts of costing and pricing, different types of costs, pricing strategies, break-even point analysis, and value chain mapping. Her discussions were practical, easy to understand, and highly relevant to the participantsโ small business activities.
The event was made possible through the strong collaboration of stakeholders, partners, and facilitators who continuously support the SUCCEED Program. Their commitment has helped empower participants by equipping them with the right knowledge and skills to improve their livelihood.
This training also holds a special significance. After five (5) years of successful implementation, the SUCCEED Program has reached a meaningful milestone. This activity marks the last training or seminar under the program, as it now stands strong and sustainable. The success of SUCCEED is a result of the continuous guidance, shared knowledge, and unwavering support from all partners and stakeholders who believed in its mission from the very beginning.
More than just a training, this event symbolizes growth, confidence, and readiness of the participants to move forward independently in their entrepreneurial journey.
