It has come to our attention that there are numerous private entities who are using the names and pictures of various Punong Barangays of Daet in social media platforms trying to scam people out of money.

The following names are the Punong Barangays who reportedly have cloned accounts:

Jocelyn Dumapias, Punong Barangay, Barangay Gahonon
Estrella Sulpa, Punong Barangay, Barangay Calasgasan
Elaine P. Madera, Punong Barangay, Barangay I

In this regard, we would like to urge the public to become more vigilant in this matter. Public is also advised to disregard any message or information coming from the aforementioned fake and dummy accounts.

Further, the Local Government Unit of Daet along with other Punong Barangays are NOT in any way tolerating this kind of fraudulent act as it is merely trying to destroy someone’s good name and reputation.
