Today, the three island schools — Guimbitayan Elementary School, Logon Elementary School, and Logon National High School — officially launched Brigada Eskwela 2026 at Logon NHS grounds in preparation for the opening of classes for School Year 2026–2027 on June 8.

Together with their partners — the Barangay Council of Logon, parents, students, Brigada Coordinators, and other school stakeholders — everyone actively participated in the activity. This initiative aligns with one of DepEd’s core mandates: to provide a safe, clean, and conducive learning environment for all learners.

Eighteen alumni of Guimbitayan Elementary School were recognized today as academic achievers (lower grade levels) for School Year 2025–2026 at Logon National High School, held at the Logon Covered Court.

𝗘𝗢𝗦𝗬 𝗥𝗜𝗧𝗘𝗦 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲🏅

Today, March 31, 2026, Guimbitayan Elementary School held its End-of-School-Year Rites at the Guimbitayan Quadrangle with the theme: “Filipino Graduates: Prepared to Lead with Competence and Character.”

Under the scorching heat of the sun, with only trapal roof covering the movers and graduates’ heads, the ceremonies proceeded as scheduled. The program began with the Kindergarten Moving-Up Ceremony, with 16 males and 15 females. They enthusiastically received their certificates and awards for performance and character traits.

The EOSY rites were graced by the school heads of Logon Elementary School and Logon National High School, as well as the council of Barangay Logon. This year highlighted the importance of competence and character in nation-building.

Right after the Moving-Up Ceremony, the recognition rites for the lower grades followed. Painted on their faces were smiles and excitement as they received their awards. Surely, the parents were the happiest.

Lastly, the Grade 6 Graduation Ceremony formally began. There were 25 males and 21 females who proudly marched down the aisle, accompanied by their parents. It was such a delight to witness such a triumphant occasion. The pupils finally reaped what they had sown over the past six years.

Indeed, this day culminates the learners’ hard work and relentless pursuit of knowledge, guided and influenced by teachers, parents, and peers..🥇🏅

𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊: 𝗙𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗵 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁 𝗘𝘅𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗚𝘂𝗶𝗺𝗯𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹

At around 1:00 in the afternoon today, a 𝗙𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗵 𝘁𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁 named 𝙈𝙤𝙪𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙥𝙝𝙖 𝙕𝙞𝙖𝙙 visited Guimbitayan Elementary School and asked 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹.

Seeing how 𝗷𝘂𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘁 and 𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗲𝗱 the learners were, he was moved to offer 𝗮 𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻. This was received by the 𝐆𝐮𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐞, 𝙈𝙧𝙨. 𝙍𝙤𝙦𝙪𝙚𝙡𝙮𝙣 𝙋. 𝙈𝙖𝙡𝙪𝙮𝙖, and the 𝐅𝐚𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐲 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭, 𝙈𝙧. 𝙀𝙣𝙧𝙞𝙘 𝘼. 𝙋𝙪𝙣𝙖𝙮, and was then forwarded to the 𝐀𝐝𝐨𝐩𝐭-𝐀-𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 𝐂𝐨𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫, 𝙈𝙨. 𝘼𝙞𝙡𝙚𝙚𝙣 𝙂. 𝙋𝙚𝙥𝙞𝙩𝙤. The donated cash will be used to 𝘱𝘶𝘳𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘴𝘦 𝘧𝘶𝘳𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦 𝘪𝘵𝘦𝘮𝘴 for the learners.

𝗚𝗘𝗦 𝗧𝗘𝗔𝗖𝗛𝗘𝗥𝗦 𝗔𝗧𝗧𝗘𝗡𝗗 𝗢𝗥𝗜𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗜𝗡𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗧𝗘𝗔𝗖𝗛𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗜𝗡𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗡𝗦

Five teachers from 𝐆𝐮𝐢𝐦𝐛𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐧 𝐄𝐥𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 attended the 𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙞𝙣𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙚𝙖𝙘𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙣𝙨 this morning at the 𝘊𝘛𝘜 𝘋𝘢𝘢𝘯𝘣𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘢𝘺𝘢𝘯 𝘒𝘢𝘭𝘢𝘮𝘣𝘶𝘢𝘯 𝘎𝘺𝘮𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘪𝘶𝘮. The interns will begin their teaching practice at the school on 𝐉𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝟐𝟔, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔.

𝗠𝘀. 𝗥𝗼𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝗣𝗲𝗽𝗶𝘁𝗼 will be mentored by 𝙈𝙨. 𝙂𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙣 𝙍. 𝙔𝙥𝙨𝙤𝙧 and 𝙈𝙨. 𝙅𝙖𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙚 𝙂. 𝘾𝙪𝙮𝙤𝙨. Meanwhile, 𝗠𝘀. 𝗕𝗶𝘁𝘁𝘆 𝗠𝗮𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗱𝗮𝗻 will be under the mentorship of 𝙈𝙧𝙨. 𝙇𝙚𝙯𝙚𝙡 𝙑. 𝙊𝙨𝙬𝙖 and 𝙈𝙧. 𝙅𝙤𝙚𝙢𝙖𝙧𝙚𝙮 𝘽. 𝙔𝙖𝙨𝙚. 𝗠𝘀. 𝗔𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗱, on the other hand, will be guided by 𝙈𝙨. 𝙎𝙚𝙢𝙥𝙚𝙧 𝙅𝙪𝙡𝙞𝙘𝙖 𝘿. 𝙍𝙤𝙨𝙚𝙡𝙡 and 𝙈𝙧. 𝙀𝙣𝙧𝙞𝙘 𝘼. 𝙋𝙪𝙣𝙖𝙮.

The orientation serves as a 𝘤𝘳𝘶𝘤𝘪𝘢𝘭 𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘵𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘯𝘴 before their deployment to their respective cooperating schools. Guimbitayan Elementary School 𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙢𝙡𝙮 𝙬𝙚𝙡𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙞𝙣𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙚𝙖𝙘𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙣𝙨 and looks forward to 𝙣𝙪𝙧𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙜𝙪𝙞𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙛𝙪𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚 𝙜𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙤𝙛 𝙚𝙙𝙪𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙨.

𝗚𝗘𝗦 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗔𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗘𝗱’𝘀 𝗔𝗥𝗔𝗟 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴

Four teachers from Guimbitayan Elementary School (GES) were chosen to serve as tutors for the 𝘼𝙘𝙖𝙙𝙚𝙢𝙞𝙘 𝙍𝙚𝙘𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝘼𝙘𝙘𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙗𝙡𝙚 𝙇𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 (𝘼𝙍𝘼𝙇) 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙢 of the Department of Education.

The selected teachers—Ms. 𝑴𝒂. 𝑱𝒐𝒂𝒏 𝑨. 𝑪𝒐𝒚𝒐𝒄𝒂, Mr. 𝑬𝒏𝒓𝒊𝒄 𝑨. 𝑷𝒖𝒏𝒂𝒚, Ms. 𝑹𝒆𝒏𝒂 𝑺. 𝑪𝒂𝒔𝒕𝒓𝒐, and Ms. 𝑱𝒂𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒆 𝑮. 𝑪𝒖𝒚𝒐𝒔—successfully completed a two-day intensive training held on 𝑱𝒂𝒏𝒖𝒂𝒓𝒚 14-15, 2026 at the 𝑪𝒆𝒃𝒖 𝑻𝒆𝒄𝒉𝒏𝒐𝒍𝒐𝒈𝒊𝒄𝒂𝒍 𝑼𝒏𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒊𝒕𝒚–𝑫𝒂𝒂𝒏𝒃𝒂𝒏𝒕𝒂𝒚𝒂𝒏 𝑪𝒂𝒎𝒑𝒖𝒔 𝑮𝒚𝒎𝒏𝒂𝒕𝒐𝒓𝒊𝒖𝒎.

The ARAL Program is implemented to address the challenge of 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘆 among elementary and junior high school learners. Currently, 60 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀 from 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲𝘀 1–6 of GES are set to undergo the program, which aims to 𝒔𝒕𝒓𝒆𝒏𝒈𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒏 𝒇𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒅𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒍 𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒅𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒔𝒌𝒊𝒍𝒍𝒔 and 𝒊𝒎𝒑𝒓𝒐𝒗𝒆 𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒂𝒍𝒍 𝒂𝒄𝒂𝒅𝒆𝒎𝒊𝒄 𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒎𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒆.
