- Payment Flexibility: Consumers must be given the option to pay via Cash, Installment, or a combination of Cash or Installment.

- No "Installment-Only" Sales: Businesses are prohibited from forcing customers into installment plans if they wish to pay in full.

- No Surcharges for Digital Payments: Extra fees or surcharges are strictly prohibited for transactions made through digital payment methods.

In its continued pursuit of advancing digital transformation in local governance, the DILG Region IV-A successfully conducted the implementation of the Local Government Unit Support System – Cities and Municipalities Information Management System (LGUSS-CMIMS) for the Municipality of Cuenca, Batangas this May 5, 2026.

The activity focused on the actual deployment and utilization of the system, equipping local government personnel with the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively manage records, streamline document processes, and improve overall service delivery. Through this initiative, the Municipality of Cuenca strengthens its commitment to adopting innovative solutions that promote efficiency, transparency, and responsiveness in public service.

With the integration of LGUSS-CMIMS, the municipality moves forward in embracing a more modernized and technology-driven governance framework for the benefit of its constituents.

Anim (6) na Buwang Bisa ng Negative Certification of Birth mula sa PSA

Mariing ipinapaalala ng Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) sa publiko na ang Negative Certification of Birth na ipinagkakaloob ng PSA ay may bisa lamang na anim (6) na buwan mula sa petsa ng pagkakaloob nito.

📌 Paglampas sa ika-6 na buwan, ito ay hindi na maaaring tanggapin bilang supporting document sa delayed registration of birth at iba pang civil registry transactions.

📌 Tiyakin na ang isusumiteng supporting documents ay updated at valid upang maiwasan ang anumang pagkaantala o abala sa proseso.
