"See what people have said about our product," is one way of using social proof
to influence customers.
🤔When we are uncertain about what to do, we assume that the people around us (experts, celebrities, friends, etc.) have more knowledge about what’s going on and what should be done.
1 People look for real testimonies before deciding to purchase a certain product or service.
2 People gather buying recommendations from mixed sources.
💎Wisdom of your family and friends
Close family and friends are the biggest drivers during the awareness and decision phases. We are influenced by what they share on social media, and we are more likely to buy what we see.
💎Expert
An industry expert recommends a product or service. Like a Twitter shout-out by an expert or having an expert on your Twitter chat.
💎Celebrity
A celebrity or influencer endorses your product or service through an Instagram post.
💎User
Current users recommend your product or service on social media or review sites based on their experiences with your brand.
💎Wisdom of the crowd
Having thousands of customers endorsing your brand or millions of followers on your social media profiles.
💎Certification
This type of social proof occurs when you are given the stamp of approval by an authoritative figure in your industry. Like the blue checkmark on Twitter or Facebook.

Using this mental trigger will increase the conversion rate as people believe they only have that opportunity to get what they want.⏳
💎We tend to associate limited availability with exclusivity. If things are difficult to get, we know it's because they're better than the things we already have.
That's why consumers use an item's availability to decide on the quality of the product.
With the right product or service and customer, scarcity can work really well.
But it should not be your only method of persuasion.
❗You also need to take care of clarity, distraction, and anxiety.
Your product or service value should be clearly laid out in your "unique selling proposition" or USP.

What's the secret to coming up with good ideas? For innovator and educator Jeremy Utley, it's about generating as many as possible.
Utley says very few problems we face in business or in life have a single right answer.
All ideas—the good, the bad, and the ugly—are "a necessary input to an innovation process" and an essential step in getting to solutions that will actually work.
❗Our brains have a tendency to fixate on the first solution that comes to mind. Yet the best ideas don't come first.
❓How can we focus less on finding the "right" answer and open ourselves up to more innovative ideas?
💎Shift your mindset and say, "Instead of looking for the right answer, I'm trying to generate as many possible answers as I can."
💎Practice every day.
💎Push on and attempt to think of as many as you can, and do it regularly.
"You're retraining your tendency to fixate on the first thing you think of. And if you solve the problem? Great. If you don’t, you’re building the muscle."
It's a technique Utley calls the Daily Idea Quota, in which practitioners try to articulate a problem they’re trying to solve in their work and come up with multiple ideas rather than the "right" idea.
Every business problem is an idea problem. How well you can solve those problems is how well you and your business can perform, navigate uncertainty, and develop innovations.

Your habits are a better predictor of your long-term success than your goals are.
You can have a goal to guide you in the right direction. But it's your systems, or daily habits, that get you there.🚀
If you can improve by just 1% every day, then you can improve massively over the course of a year.
Look for small improvements in your daily routine and try to aggregate them over time.📈
Changes that seem small and unimportant initially will compound into remarkable results if you're willing to stick with them for years.
💎In Clear's words, "With consistency and repetition, you can actually change not only your results but your identity."

With all the distractions we have now, we need to be intentional with how we spend our time.
Using your tickets While it’s tempting to view our days as an amusement park with unlimited rides, that’s not really true. It might not maximize our impact or enjoyment either. In fact, we each have a lim…

Original research from CoSchedule shows that marketers who set goals are 376% more likely to report success than those who don’t.
🎯These marketers are more successful than those who don't set goals because they decide to do something and then follow through by taking the necessary actions to make it happen.

Branding is about so much more than a logo. Branding is about digging deep and looking at what your values are and really connecting emotionally with the audience that you want to attract and sell to.💎

No idea will work unless we DO the work. Sometimes the problem is that we think more than we take action.
Yes, preparation is essential to increase efficiency and save time and money. But there's gotta be a point where you START IMPLEMENTING.
By starting, you will gather enough feedback to get better.
Give yourself permission to FAIL.
Seth Godin once said, "If failure isn't an option, then success isn't either. Success is just failure repeated until it works."
One thing you can do is to START SMALL.
Getting started with your biggest task may seem too much and may make you procrastinate even more.
So instead, start with your simplest task.
It’s time! Take the next step!👍🏻

Create a lead magnet on a topic your target audience is interested in and wants to learn about to have a higher chance of converting them into customers.
Keep your lead magnet short and sweet. Remember,
"Human beings do not buy the best products and services. They buy the ones that they can understand the fastest." (Donald Miller)
It should have both high perceived value and high actual value and should demonstrate your unique value proposition to turn leads into customers.
What is your favorite type of lead magnet for your business?
