Even though we haven’t spent that long time together, the bond we’ve built already feels genuine. We’re glad that, in our own simple ways, we’ve been able to make you feel at home and comfortable within the group. 𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊: Koro de Oro's Participation at the Regional Annual Administrative Tactical Inspection 2026

𝐊𝐨𝐫𝐨 𝐝𝐞 𝐎𝐫𝐨 (𝑲𝑫𝑶) placed 4th in 𝙋𝙖𝙨𝙞𝘾𝙇𝙐𝘽𝙖𝙣’𝙨 𝘾𝙇𝙐𝘽𝙖𝙠𝙗𝙖𝙠𝙖𝙣 by performing two of the pieces they have been training for over the past months, 𝙄𝙞𝙨𝙖𝙣𝙜 𝘽𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙠𝙖 and 𝙉𝙤𝙮𝙥𝙞. Regardless of the placement, 𝐊𝐨𝐫𝐨 𝐝𝐞 𝐎𝐫𝐨 (𝑲𝑫𝑶) gave their best and sang their hearts out— and that’s what truly matters. 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙪𝙡𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨!

𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊: Koro de Oro on National Arts Month Celebration

𝐊𝐨𝐫𝐨 𝐝𝐞 𝐎𝐫𝐨 unveiled their remarkable talent during yesterday’s celebration of 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡. From the preliminaries to their main performance and even the intermission numbers, the group delivered exemplary presentations— both with and without the guidance of their conductor, 𝐒𝐢𝐫 𝐉𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐜 𝐄. 𝐒𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐢𝐬, 𝐏𝐡𝐃, showing their versatility, discipline, and passion for music.

The event concluded successfully through the leadership and initiative of SCAD Unit Head Sir 𝐒𝐢𝐫 𝐉𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐜 𝐄. 𝐒𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐢𝐬, 𝐏𝐡𝐃, together with the dedicated efforts of the coordinators, 𝐒𝐢𝐫 𝐉𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐞 𝐆. 𝐓𝐮𝐫𝐭𝐨𝐠𝐚, 𝐌𝐀𝐄𝐝, and 𝐌𝐚’𝐚𝐦 𝐍𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐚 𝐂𝐚𝐛𝐮𝐠𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐧-𝐇𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐧, 𝐌𝐀𝐄𝐝, whose support ensured a smooth and unforgettable program for all participants and attendees.

Special thanks to the organization’s president, 𝑱𝒂𝒎𝒆𝒔 𝑩𝒓𝒚𝒍𝒆 𝑸𝒖𝒊𝒋𝒂𝒏𝒐, for his tireless efforts in helping make this event a success. 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡 𝐂𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 🎭

In 1991, former President Corazon Aquino issued Proclamation No. 683, designating February as National Arts Month in the Philippines. This initiative recognizes the importance of the arts in shaping our cultural identity and fostering national pride.

In celebration of this occasion, the Sports, Cultural, and Arts Development (SCAD) Section will host the 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡 𝐂𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 on February 13, 2026, at the Davao de Oro State College Main Campus Activity Center.

During the day, we will hold the 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞-𝐰𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐒𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 for the Regional Culture and Arts Festival 2026, showcasing the exceptional talents of our student-performers across all campuses.

In the evening, catch 𝐏𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐂𝐥𝐮𝐛𝐚𝐧, the exciting showdown of SCAD-related organizations, highlighting creativity, teamwork, and school spirit.

These activities aim to celebrate artistic achievements, enhance appreciation for diverse art forms, and inspire the next generation of artists, reinforcing the vital role of the arts in shaping our national identity.
