Kudos to the Local Government of Maragusan, headed by Mayor Angelito Lito Cabalquinto through the Maragusan - Local Youth Development Office in partnership with the Tourism Maragusan and Development Management Office for successfully celebrated the Philippines' Earth Day, National Literature Month and National Food Month 2024 through the MARAGUSAN LETS GO โKabataan Para sa Kinaiyahanโ Program.
The festivities included a series of engaging activities such as a Fun Run, Tree Planting-servicing, and Clean-up Drive. These events not only fostered community participation but also underscored Maragusan's commitment to sustainability and inclusive development. Through this collaborative effort, the municipality exemplified its dedication to nurturing a greener, culturally vibrant, and socially cohesive environment for its residents and future generations.
Gracing the event were the attendance of the newly selected Municipal IPMR Lito Bangkiling/Committee Chairperson on Environment, Ms. Michelle Reign Cabalquinto-Camillo, Municipal Administrator, MENRO headed by Sir Ferdinand E. Bautista thru Ms. Charito S. Garzon, Ms. Anabel C. Teoxon, Executive Assistant II. Much thanks to the Barangay Government of Coronobe headed by Hon. Ezequiel R. Catorce, and the Sangguniang Kabataan Council headed be Hon. John Mark Vertudazo for the assistance and preparation of the Hot Meal and Drinks and to Maragusan NHS Drum and Bugle Corps thru Sir Paciano M. Resuena Jr. and Sir Boyet Diez.
Facilitating the event were the Municipal Council of Women headed by Ms. Annie S. Cabalquinto, MCOW Chairperson; Mark Win T. Costante, LYDO designate; Romeo Juรฑor I. Tublag Jr., MIO Designate; Dennis B. Radin, MTDMO; along with Joeffer S. Bebat and staff, esteemed members of the Adjudicators with special mention to sir Larry Y. Rosalinda and Sir Winson L. Almerida, in partnership with the Pnp Maragusan Pcr headed by PMAJ. Ariel Pascual, RPSB, BFP R11 Maragusan Fire Station, headed by FSINSP. Danny Boy Monloy and company, MDRRMO headed by Sir Marlo F. Sabuero, MNHS students, teacher Chene May C. Felisilda and Riza Alcomedras, and all those who participated in the event.
