Another business is continuously being supported by a recently hired team member. Say hello to Ladee, or Leigh, as she is more commonly known. She’s now working alongside Christine and Rahul, bringing her experience to support the Human Resources function as the team takes shape.

Leigh holds a degree in Psychology and is a Certified Human Resources Manager. Her background in recruitment and interviewing, combined with her ability to listen actively, communicate effectively, resolve conflicts, and make objective decisions, helped her stand out as the right fit for the HR Manager role. With a strong focus on building relationships while maintaining discretion and confidentiality, Leigh brings the people-focused approach needed to help establish and support the business as it begins its operations. She now works across HR systems, applicant tracking platforms, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Microsoft Teams, and other workplace tools to help keep recruitment, employee support, communication, and day-to-day HR processes organised and moving forward.

Away from work, Leigh enjoys the simple things that help her recharge. She believes ice cream is good in any weather, even when the temperature says otherwise. Long drives never seem to get boring for her, while rock music is her go-to after a long day at work. And much like many of us, coffee is simply non-negotiable. It’s a mix of little comforts, independence, and good energy that gives us a glimpse of the person behind the HR professional.
