This meaningful initiative has empowered frontline fighters in the diabetes revolution through health education, diabetes awareness, screening services, and community engagement. Your dedication to promoting prevention, early detection, and proper diabetes management continues to make a lasting impact on the lives of many Balambanons.

We commend the organizers, healthcare professionals, volunteers, and partners whose commitment and hard work made this activity a success. Your efforts inspire our community to take proactive steps toward better health and wellness.

As part of the observance of Dengue Awareness Month, a successful dengue prevention and awareness campaign was held today, June 4, 2026, at Hingatmonan Elementary School through the collaborative efforts of Hingatmonan Elementary School, headed by Mr. Dioscoro Sasing, and the Balamban Rural Health Unit III, headed by Dr. Jon Patrick Gonzalez.

The activity aimed to educate the community on the importance of dengue prevention and control while promoting a clean and healthy environment. Highlights of the event included an awareness campaign through health education, a school clean-up drive to eliminate potential mosquito breeding sites and misting operations in classrooms to help reduce the mosquito population and safeguard the health and well-being of students and school personnel.

We would like to express our sincere appreciation to the teachers and staff of Hingatmonan Elementary School for their active participation and support throughout the activity. We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Carl Jeffrey Estaño, RN, Division Nurse of the Department of Education Region VII, for his unwavering support of the program; Ms. Chloe Abregana, Disease Surveillance Officer of the Department of Health Central Visayas, for sharing valuable information and insights on dengue prevention and control; Mr. Jan Anthony Gutierrez, Rural Sanitation Officer, together with the staff of the General Supply Office of the LGU Balamban, for spearheading the misting activity within the school premises; and the dedicated midwives and healthcare personnel of Balamban RHU III for their commitment to promoting dengue awareness in the community.

Lastly, we sincerely thank the parents of the students of Hingatmonan Elementary School for their cooperation, participation, and support in making this activity a meaningful and successful endeavor.

✅ Support fogging/spraying in hotspot areas when necessary

Another successful conduct of Operation Tuli held today, May 29, 2026, at Barangay Lamesa by the Balamban Rural Health Unit III and Birthing Center.

This meaningful activity was headed by our Assistant Municipal Health Officer, Dr. Jon Patrick Gonzalez, together with the dedicated midwives, nurses, and staff of Balamban RHU III.

A total of 19 young boys from Barangay Lamesa, and Barangay Bayong successfully underwent circumcision during the activity.

We would like to extend our sincerest gratitude to Barangay Lamesa, headed by Barangay Captain Hon. Wilfredo Alvarado, for accommodating the conduct of the Operation Tuli at their barangay hall and our heartfelt appreciation also goes to everyone who generously shared their time, effort, and unwavering support in making this community health initiative a success.
