Proverbs 31 Clothing is a divine idea.
Some of my dear sisters in the ministry and I were all impressed by God and was given this special calling to embrace modesty. So we begin to deeply study and understand this very inspiring wise woman described in the Proverbs 31 "She is not afraid of the snow for her household: for all her household are clothed with double garments." Proverbs 31:21.
WHAT DOES ALL THIS MEAN?
I made a list of each verse and what it means to me personally.
God calls us to be virtuous and capable.
We are to be faithful and enrich not only our lives but the people around us as well.
God calls us to work not being slothful.
God calls us to be early women, wake up before the sunrise.
God calls us to be Homemaker, taking care of the husband and all the members of the household.
God calls us to love those in need by welcoming them with open arms, a cheerful giver.
God asks us to not be consumed by our looks, but be well dressed. Dress modestly. Someone has said, “Your clothes, and that includes every detail, should be the perfect background for your personality.
We are called to fear nothing but God.
God calls us to marry a man with the same faith. A man who loves God will be a good husband and leader.
God calls us to have a meek and cheerful spirit. Noble character.
Proverbs 31 has been one of my favorite studies. I took it to heart.
God promises to recognize our faith.
Proverbs 31 Clothing is a ministry that will help and encourage women to be modest in character as well as in clothing in the fear of the Lord.
