Welcome to Journeysapes with Ludy! - a new and different kind of talk show now launched.
Journeyscapes with Ludy was originally Journeyscapes by Ludy authored by Ludy Vilma Atillo-Demecillo which started with long reflective blogs on page created in July 2020 when she decided to be intentional in her inner journey - an inward journey of self-awareness, self-discovery, self-healing, self-care and self-love - to have meaningful connections towards herself, towards others and towards God.
The long blogs early on in Journeyscapes by Ludy were self-reflections based on the knowledge acquired through readings and online coaching during pandemic as well as insights of life experiences in the past 50 years. Instrumental to the birth of Journeyscapes by Ludy was the guidance of her personal life coach and panic healer Paraluman Patalinghug Data who is a Cebuana based in India.
After a year of blogging, Journeyscapes by Ludy evolved. Apart from journaling, it began to put on live the coaching session with Coach Paraluman via Facebook Live inside the zoom meet at least once a month. After a few episodes, it also invited other life coaches where sharing was more lively and insightful. A year after, the platform opened to real people of friends and famlly from different walks of life - parents, children, teachers, sports enthusiasts, businessmen, spiritual leaders, artists, nutritionist, yogists, expats and more, whose journey intertwined with Ludy’s inner journey. It was simple, raw and unedited with very minimal script or no script at all. It was a flowing sharing about life in general.
Late last year, Ludy got an invitation to Bagong Pilipinas Studios - Visayas which opened the opportunity to create an in-person talk show of Journeyscapes by Ludy. With the government services given for free from shooting to editing in a beautiful studio, Journeyscapes by Ludy found a new home for its talk show.
The show concept has been refined. Ludy Demecillo as a journeyer invites other journeyers to share insights and experiences on a chosen topic decided by Ludy, being the host and main journeyer. With that, the title has been slightly changed into Journeyscapes with Ludy.
The talk show is pre-recorded in the studio and uploaded on social media platforms - Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and TikTok on JourneyscapeswithLudy. Soon, episodes can be watched on Spotify.
So far, five (5) episodes were already released:
1st Episode was an introduction of Ludy and overview of Journeyscapes.
2nd Episode was with the aspiring Filipino astronaut Florence Pauline Basubas and topic was about realizing dreams. While 3rd Episode was a thorough discussion about disability, guesting PADS Dragon Boat Racing Team founder, John Paul Maunes.
4th Episode was about the diving journey with 3 co-divers Raymond Kirby, Ted Castillo and Ivan Gultiano.
Latest episode which was the 5th with Jiggy Cerna of TFM Tops Media Center where we delved into our sales career journey.
Other episodes for release: 6th Episode was about self-care centered on skincare with V&M Naturals Skincare founder Jam Tan-Velez.
The 7th Episode was with Gordon Dondi Joseph of Miguu Expedition and Eva Marie Dano of
EasyTravel and Tours, both have travelled around the world extensively, where we will be sharing our travel experiences.
Just recently, an episode was recorded with the dating and relationship coach Julie Kristine de Guzman.
Another significant milestone of Journeyscapes with Ludy this 2026 is the partnership with United Neon Advertising, an Out-of-Home advertising company. The partnership provides LED billboard ad opportunity for Journeyscapes brand at Escario Central, Cebu City starting last January until January next year. This helps create awareness not only of the talk show but also of the Bagong Pilipinas Studios - Visayas.
For the last three (3) months in its new home at Bagong Pilipinas Studios, Journeyscapes with Ludy has consistently increased its followers. The host / producer Ludy Demecillo has expressed gratitude towards the overwhelming support from partners and sponsors as Journeyscapes continues to stay relevant and inspiring by sharing stories of hope one journey at a time.

Chef Bruce Lim Joins Sunny Farms in Championing High-Quality and Dependable Ingredients for Professional Kitchens
Sunny Farms announced its partnership with Chef Bruce Lim as the brand’s first Culinary Authority Partner, formalized through a contract signing held at Seda Hotel, Cebu.
Unlike a traditional celebrity chef endorsement, this collaboration is built as a working partnership. Chef Bruce will collaborate with Sunny Farms’ customers—helping them use the products, develop dishes, refine menus, and create practical solutions designed for real-world food service environments.
Chef Bruce Lim is widely recognized in the Philippine culinary scene not only as a television personality, but as a chef with deep professional and operational experience. He is best known for hosting shows on the Asian Food Channel (AFC), including Tablescapes, where he explored Filipino culinary traditions, and The Boss, which highlighted leadership and ex*****on in professional kitchens. He has also served as a judge on AFC’s Next Celebrity Chef.
Beyond television, Chef Bruce’s background reflects the discipline and scale that modern food service demands. Trained at Le Cordon Bleu in London, he gained international experience working in professional kitchens in the United States before returning to the Philippines. He was also entrusted with leading large-scale food operations for major sporting events, serving as Executive Chef for the 2019 SEA Games, overseeing meals for thousands of athletes and officials, and later supporting Team Philippines during the 2023 SEA Games, ensuring nutrition, cultural, and dietary requirements were met around the clock.
It is this combination of culinary authority, operational discipline, and real-world scale that drew Sunny Farms to Chef Bruce — and shaped the nature of the partnership.
“This partnership is very collaborative,” said Chef Bruce. “I will be doing demos in industry expos and caravan activities, sharing practical ideas and techniques that chefs and operators can apply in their own kitchens.”
Sunny Farms is a food service brand offering essential ingredients sourced specifically for chefs and professional kitchens. It is exclusively distributed by Global Pacific Distribution Network.
Backed by Global Pacific’s centralized ordering and distribution system, hotels and restaurant groups can place Sunny Farms orders through a single ordering point, with delivery coordinated across their multiple locations nationwide.
“Many of our partners are growing their operations by opening multiple branches,” said Ms. Gracey Malaluan-Jose, National Sales Director of Global Pacific. “Through Sunny Farms and Chef Bruce’s involvement, we’re able to support these operators beyond supply — by working with their teams to develop menus and dishes that work across locations, teams, and service formats.”
Under the partnership with Sunny Farms, Chef Bruce will work closely with the Global Pacific Sales Team collaborating with restaurants, hotels and cafes to ideate new dishes and build menus that are exciting, consistent, and operationally sound across multiple branches.
There will be a nationwide cooking caravan where Chef Bruce will also conduct demos designed to help operators and their teams strengthen skills, get new recipe ideas and improve consistency and profitability. In addition, he will join Sunny Farms in live cooking demonstrations at the World Food Expo (WOFEX) in Cebu, Davao, and Manila, offering chefs and operators an up-close look at how Sunny Farms ingredients perform across different cuisines and applications.
Through this partnership, Sunny Farms and Chef Bruce Lim aim to deepen the collaboration within the food service community — combining dependable ingredients with chef-led guidance to help professional kitchens cook with confidence, consistency, and creativity at scale.
For updates on Chef Bruce Lim’s cooking demos, nationwide caravan, and WOFEX schedules, visit www.globalpacific .com.ph.

Robert Go Inducted as JCI Senate Philippines President; Five Flagship Projects Launched at NatCon 2026 in Cebu
The JCI Senate Philippines formally inducted Robert Go as its National President and launched its five flagship projects for 2026 during the organization’s 58th National Convention (NatCon 2026) and Joint Induction and Turnover Ceremonies held at Seda Ayala Center Cebu last January 30, 2026.
More than 200 delegates, including JCI Senators, members, partners, and guests from across the country, attended the national gathering, which highlighted leadership transition, fellowship, and the organization’s continued commitment to nation-building.
Go said the decision to launch the flagship projects in Cebu held personal significance, as he hails from the city.
“The launching of the flagship projects in Cebu is very significant for me because I am from Cebu and I am leading the JCI Senate Philippines this year as its president,” Go said. “We gathered delegates, guests, members, and partners to celebrate our achievements and to continue advancing JCI’s advocacies.”
The induction marked the formal transition of national leadership and the beginning of a new term focused on service, professional excellence, and social impact.
Five Flagship Projects for 2026
The five flagship projects reflect JCI Senate Philippines’ advocacy pillars, which include values formation, environmental sustainability, professional recognition, and public service.
The Ten Outstanding Filipino Physicians (TOFP) Awards recognizes Filipino doctors who choose to practice in the Philippines despite opportunities abroad. The program honors physicians for their dedication, patriotism, and service to underserved communities, helping address the country’s medical brain drain.
The Greenlink initiative establishes a global network of corporations and organizations committed to environmental protection and climate action. It promotes sustainable practices such as energy conservation, waste segregation, paper reduction, tree planting, green architecture, and rainwater harvesting.
The organization also continues its long-standing values advocacy program, We Advocate Time Consciousness and Honesty (W.A.T.C.H.), in partnership with the Department of Education (DepEd), Commission on Higher Education (CHED), Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), and other educational institutions. The program promotes punctuality and honesty among Filipino youth through free workshops nationwide. Presidential Proclamation No. 1782 declares June as W.A.T.C.H. Month.
Another flagship initiative is the Kasambahay Kasambuhay Award: Inspiring Our Heroes, developed in partnership with Palawan Express. The program recognizes Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs), particularly household service workers, for their sacrifices and contributions while promoting Filipino values and encouraging employer support in host countries.
Completing the slate is The Outstanding Filipinos (TOFIL) Award, established in 1988 by the Philippine Jaycee Senate. The award honors Filipinos aged 41 and above whose exemplary achievements and contributions merit national recognition.
“These projects highlight our continuing commitment to nation-building,” Go said. “We acknowledge leadership, networking, fellowship, training, and service to the community as the enduring values of the JCI Senate.”
NatCon Cebu 2026
NatCon 2026 was hosted by JCI Senate Cebu, led by its newly inducted president, JCI Senator Barbara Pascua Cabo. The convention featured ceremonial rites, leadership recognitions, and networking activities aimed at strengthening camaraderie and reinforcing the organization’s mission of developing leaders and creating positive change nationwide.
The event reaffirmed JCI Senate Philippines’ role as a dynamic organization committed to service, leadership development, and nation-building.

CPMS Builds a Future Rooted in Family Well-Being
By listening closely to parents and families, Cebu Paradise Montessori School, Inc. is redefining its mission—placing mental health, compassionate parenting, and family resilience at the center of its journey toward 2030.
During its mid-year parent review, founder Ms. Marivic Bathan invited families to reflect on their challenges in 2025 and their hopes and fears for 2026, especially for their children. What emerged was a shared concern about uncertainty and mental well-being—affirming CPMS’s long-term direction to make mental health advocacy a core mission.
After its 2025 strategic planning, the school recognized that its first 20 years had shaped not only students, but mental health advocates—parents, teachers, and learners who carry self-regulation, care, and emotional awareness into their communities. Seeing mental health as a growing social crisis, CPMS is now aligning its vision toward becoming a hub for mental health advocacy by 2030.
This year’s Foundation Week marks the start of CPMS 2.0, guided by one clear belief: mental well-being starts with the family, and parents are the first influence in a child’s life.
The focus is on parents. Key workshops include “Compassionate Parenting: Connection, Not Reaction,” led by nonviolent communication trainer Amina Mambuhay, and “Recharge,” a brain health and stress-care session led by Coach Ricky John Goyeneche, 1st Brain Health Trainer in the Philippines & Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) Trainer.
Community voices reflect the impact of this direction.
Former student Joanna Grace Semilla shared that CPMS’s parent-centered programs help families understand Montessori education, especially those coming from traditional schools. She said the school’s activities strengthen family relationships—something she wishes more schools would do.
Alumnus Joel Anthony Punay described CPMS as his “second home,” a place of belonging that shaped who he is. He believes CPMS’s approach to learning “really works” and can benefit generations.
For Nina Nayre, mother of CPMS student Paulus, CPMS was life-changing. Her son, diagnosed with ADHD and developmental delays, found support in the school’s inclusive environment, on-site therapists, and strong advocacy for children with special needs.
Supported by a full team from preschool to Grade 6, she saw real growth. “We believed in the process—and it worked,” she shared.
Parent Bryan Sacal described the mid-year review as a space for honest dialogue. It allows parents and the school to understand each other’s struggles, wins, and expectations. Having been part of CPMS since his son Grayson was a toddler, now in Grade 5, he said many concerns were addressed through these open conversations that keep families and the school aligned.
The workshops themselves are already changing homes.
Parent Curbie Canete shared that the compassionate parenting workshop made him feel unexpectedly empowered. What he learned, he said, was something he could use not only with his children, but in his personal life and work.
For Shynet Berou, the biggest change was communication. After the workshop, she began expressing feelings instead of reacting. She shared how applying this at home—simply telling her children how she felt—stopped a recurring conflict and created calm. “It made me realize that understanding your own emotions helps you understand others,” she said.
1st and only internatuonally certified Nonviolent Communication trainer in the Philippines, Amina Mambuhay defined compassionate parenting as a “power with” relationship—where both parent and child listen to each other’s feelings and needs, instead of control or submission.
Coach Ricky John Goyeneche explained that reactive parenting often comes from stress patterns learned early in life.
He emphasized awareness, reframing, visualization, and language as tools to interrupt these patterns—reminding parents that change begins with their own behavior, not just their instructions. “Parenting is not just about raising a child,” he said. “It’s about becoming better for the child.”
By 2030, CPMS envisions itself as a hub for mental health advocacy—beginning not with systems or structures, but with families, and the parents who shape a child’s world.
Because before we build resilient children, we must first strengthen the people who raise them.
To join and collaborate in future mental well-being initiatives, workshops, and trainings, please contact 0920-9522509 or email cpms.learningcommunity@gmail .com

Cebu Launches MICE Guidebook at ASEAN Tourism Forum Showcasing Readiness for Purpose-Driven Global Events
Cebu reinforced its growing stature as a leading meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions (MICE) destination in Southeast Asia with the official launch of the Cebu MICE Guidebook during the ASEAN Tourism Forum’s Travel Exchange (TRAVEX), held at the Mactan Expo in Mactan Newtown.
The guidebook was unveiled at a pivotal moment, coinciding with one of the region’s most influential tourism gatherings, attended by delegates from different ASEAN countries, senior government leaders, and industry decision-makers.
Designed as a strategic resource for international event planners, associations, and corporate organizers, the Cebu MICE Guidebook presents a comprehensive overview of the destination’s ability to host meetings that bring together diverse communities, ideas, and shared purpose.
The guidebook is the product of a collaborative effort motivated by the Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry and its industry leaders, who have long championed initiatives positioning the province as both a tourism and business hub. Developed through close coordination between private-sector stakeholders and public agencies, the project was conceived for Cebu Business Month 2025 and further refined for its official release at the ASEAN Tourism Forum. It features close to 300 establishments and service providers across key MICE service pillars, including hotels, venues, transportation providers, professional conference organizers, and event suppliers.
Cebu’s fundamentals further support this momentum. With over 20,000 guest rooms and accommodation options available daily, a growing portfolio of venues, and an established mix of dining, retail, and lifestyle experiences, the destination is equipped to host events of varying scale and complexity while delivering memorable delegate experiences beyond the meeting room.
For Cleofe Albiso, President of the Cebu MICE Alliance and Managing Director of Megaworld Hotels & Resorts, the guidebook reflects Cebu’s broader aspiration to host events with meaning and long-term value.
“As an alliance, our goal is to bridge the world with what Cebu has to offer—efficient event solutions, creative talent, and trusted local partnerships,” Albiso said. “More than a destination, Cebu invites the global community to engage with its people, culture, and purpose, creating opportunities for inclusive and sustainable growth.”
The launch of the Cebu MICE Guidebook signals Cebu’s steady evolution into a future-ready MICE destination, anchored on collaboration, service excellence, and community engagement. As the global meetings industry increasingly prioritizes intentional, values-driven gatherings, Cebu positions itself as a destination prepared to host events that create impact—both for delegates and for the communities that welcome them.
